Looking for 19.5 inch fenders online and thought Raineys had great prices on "in stock" combo kits and ordered them for my customer. Fender mounting kit showed up within four business days. Great!. Two weeks later, Wednesday, I call to find out why the fenders have not shipped four days beyond their estimated shipping date. Come to find they are not actually in stock nor have been made yet... maybe August they say. Seemingly knowledgeable sales person sells me on more expensive fenders that they absolutely have in stock so I pay an extra $100++ just to get them coming for my customers truck and push his appointment back. Wait two days, Friday, i call back and get promised that the warehouse has them ready and they will ship no later than the following Monday. I miss the confirmation call that next Monday but received a voicemail saying that the product is being loaded onto a truck and will be here within 3 to 4 days. No confirmation email Monday. No confirmation email Tuesday so I call Tuesday afternoon. I get reaffirmed that the parts are in stock and in the warehouse and ready for loading/shipping. No confirmation email Wednesday. After spending 20 minutes on the phone with probably the seventh person I've talk to there I find out that part is not actually in stock, or even made yet or has been shipped or in the warehouse. Wednesday afternoon talked to a supervisor. We find the same exact set of fenders that were not in stock much closer to me in Michigan but they are white. Luckily my customers truck is white so that's OK. Promised up and down that that company cannot ship by this afternoon but will absolutely get them out today, Thursday, and Stephanie (supervisor) will call me regardless to update me. Wait until 3 o'clock Thursday and no confirmation email or phone call from Stephanie. Call back and spend another 20 minutes on hold while they find stephanie and figure it out. Product has not shipped and I get promised yet again that everything is on the move and ready to go will be shipped out tomorrow. I ask if Raneys will guarantee shipping by noon Friday otherwise give me a complete refund on my purchase. Seems legitimate that they should put their money where their mouth is and not mine this time. They would not oblige so now I wait until noon tomorrow before I dispute the charges on my business credit card and go a different route. Yet again have to tell my customer I will not be able to complete the job a third time around. In 18 years of automotive repair and fabrication I have never dealt with such a poorly organized company. Never have I been lied to so much, not even by an exgirlfriend and I wish that was funny. It's absolutely pathetic. Hope the owner reaches out with his apologies for screwing a customer over, over, over and over. Oh yeah 4 1/2 hours total of phone time. Don't even consider using Raneys
