I tried to order a number of college textbooks on Sept 5, but two days after confirming my order it was cancelled. I missed the cancelation email but noticed I was never charged about two weeks later. I figured something had gone wrong and re-ordered the books on Sept 20. One day later that order was also cancelled. Confused, but wondering if a problem with a single book would hold up the entire order instead of just being removed from the order, I ordered 4 books on 4 different orders on Sept 24. All 4 orders were cancelled with the same generic, non-informative message on Sept 27.
All of the books I attempted to order are still showing up in search on their site, so it's baffling to me what is going wrong. If they're not actually in stock, or the (multiple, different) vendors that had them on offer weren't making them available, then why have they been on the site for weeks?
They refunded/wiped out all the charges, so I don't think this is an outright scam, but it's still super frustrating.
