I really wanted to like this company. If you look at their website, they have some really cool kydex holsters for every pistol and if not they will custom make it (per their website). I was in the market for a shoulder holster and the one they offered looked EXACTLY like what I wanted. Not leather/suede. Thin webbing straps. And a kydex sheath that would fit my pistol along with my light attachment. Only Ares offered this and I was bound to buy it. It was close to $200 so I sent them an email and asked about the correct option to order. They responded quickly. I placed my order that same day. Then I anxiously waited and I knew it had a 7 week lead time. No problem.

So what's the issue? I was reviewing my order and had another question I wanted to clarify. This was about 1 week after I placed my order. I emailed Matt (the veteran owner) and expected a quick reply again. Nothing. I emailed again (2 weeks) because I didn't want them to make my sheath incorrectly and wanted to make sure I ordered it correctly. Nothing. I emailed again (4 weeks) Nothing. I was not emailing about where my order was or when it would ship, just wanted to make sure it would be made correctly.

I got my sheath in about 6 weeks. My concerns about the sheath was not an issue as it arrived exactly as I needed it. I wear the holster for 3 weeks and it breaks. I sent Matt an email and the picture of the break and guess what? That's right! Nothing!

This seems like a legit business run out of a residence. You cant Google review them though so not sure why. They have a few YouTube people talk about how great this place is. They seem legit but their customer service and quality of work is just not worth it. There are far too many people making kydex sheaths you just don't want to take an expensive chance with Ares. Try Ethos Survival. OMG those guys are incredible!

Ares seems to be responsive if it helps you place an order. But if you have any questions after the order or after your sheath breaks, forget it. Like I said. Ethos Survival. They make custom kydex EDC sheath for pistols and tools and will combo them in any way you want. Ethos replied to one of my questions at midnight.

Ares Tactical has a lot to learn about customer service.

I have a complaint not having to do with their service.

I watched one of their service vans on Northwest Parkway en route to turn on HWY 36 in Broomfield basically cut across traffic and then proceeded to cut off other cars basically thinking that all he needed to do was have his blinker on and everyone else better stay out of his way. Not sure he even looked at his side mirrors. Most likely texting and driving.

Now I know this is supposed to be a review about their service but a service tech that is that careless and rude in traffic could easily mess up something they are working on for you. Now I did contact them directly and they decided that their 2 ton billboard cutting people off and being rude on the road was fine. They didn't respond. What about if you have an issue with their service? Will they respond? Are they in such a rush that they will rush through your project as well? Shouldn't their courtesy extend to the road where many potential customers may see that van with their logo on it?

I travel many highways to get to and from work daily. I see many company vehicles and most are nice knowing they are driving a company billboard. Doesn't mean we can treat them like crap and they have no choice but to deal with it. Basic road courtesy is all. I want this out there in case that same tech ends up causing a serious accident. They probably didn't respond because it was the owner or his family:-)

If the company cared they would have had a "Hows my Driving" sticker. Or better yet, respond to my email?

Anyway sorry to take up room on this review board but didn't know where else to post my frustrations.

Stay clear of Hardline Plumbing and Heating vehicles! I sure hope their work is better than their driving!

Be careful when you buy from Garrett Wade. Wood colors are not as pictured and then they blame you for not understanding wood tones. Very weird dealing with a company that thinks customer service is done by letting you buy from them. Also the customer reviews are not all posted. They weed out negative comments about their product. They do have some 1-2 stars posted but they are minor issues. Great products but you can buy the same stuff from other vendors with comparable prices and non insulting customer service.
