The scammers may be using the name and address of a legitimate business(Clayton Guns, North Carolina). Localfirearmstore.com(AKA Clayton Firearm Store) is a total scam. They have a chat room. I contacted them regarding their pricing($1.00 for a $3000 Wilson Combat 1911 and many many more items priced similarly) and their payment methods. They would only take payment from Zelle. Since I was not familiar with Zelle, I offered several common options. They refused to accept a credit card, a money order, a personal check, etc. I attempted to contact them three more times regarding pricing and payment. They did not respond. Clayton Guns of North Carolina has their own website, web address, and their own online store which in no way resembles that of localfirearmstore.com. Avoid this site entirely!
Tip for consumers:
Caveat Emptor. Localfirearmstore.com is using a North Carolina gun shop as a storefront for their website. The website is a total fraud. For example, they advertise a $1.00 purchase price for a $3000 Wilson Combat 1911 and $645 for a $2500 Browning Citori. Also, they don't accept common methods of payment. Look for yourselves but avoid this scam at all costs.
