There is no doubt that Duracell offers a great selections of high quality batteries, but their prices can sometimes be very expensive. I still use their alkaline batteries, but for lead-acid, I now use Canbat, which has been great.

We made our first order with Canbat in July. The quality of their lead acid batteries is better than anything we've seen. We've made a much larger order in Sept and it just arrived! Very excited to test the new models.

Exide is a really big brand in some countries because they seem to invest a lot in marketing, but their battery quality isn't great, especially outside North America.
