I used this site to get bids for a roofing job and some concrete replacement. Of the six or so contractors i found that had 4 out of 5 star (or better) ratings only 2 kept appointments. One of those was an absolute scam artist that i had to ask to leave several times. Besides the lack of good contractors, they sold or passed on all my contact information to every fly by night "we buy houses" company on the planet. Stay away! Stay far far away!

I ordered some parts for a 1967 K20 Project, my order was Thousands of dollars. Not only did they not give me a break on shipping, they overcharged me by about 30% and took 3 weeks longer to deliver than originally stated when I placed my order (this was pre-covid). When I called to talk to someone about these things and try to track down my order, the person I spoke with was rude, and didn't seem interested in helping me at all. When I asked for tracking or an eta on my order I was told "whatever it said when you ordered it, that's what it will be." My parts eventually arrived, but I had to make special arrangements with UPS because they were sent "signature required" ( No mention of this on checkout with LMC). I think I'll avoid purchasing vintage pickup bits from them in the future. Buyer Beware.

Purchased a piece of furniture online through Chairish. Negotiation with the seller was easy and I got a good price, HOWEVER, on check out there was no option to select any kind of shipping priority (or any other options). After my purchase was completed and I was emailed a receipt, the receipt showed I had been charged nearly $500 for shipping and handling on my item, but no information about shipping/tracking. I emailed Chairish and after a couple of days I got a reply explaining they had assigned a shipper to my item and I should get information about when my item would be shipping in 3 to 5 weeks. (Yep 3 to 5 weeks just to know when it will ship). They also provided contact information for the shipper they assigned my item to. I called the phone number provided for the shipper and got a recording that the voicemail for the number I called had not been set up. I called about a dozen times over the next 3 weeks and nobody answered. I also emailed the shipper several times and got no answer. Finally 3 and 1/2 weeks later I got a text message from the shipper advising me that he would be in my area. Unfortunately I was out of town for business and could not return in time to take delivery... This back and forth went on for 6 weeks before I finally got the item I had ordered (total time from purchase of item until delivery was made was 7 weeks and 3 days). I don't think I'll buy from them again unless it's local pickup or a deal that makes financial sense and doesn't need to be delivered for a month or two. I give them two stars, one for economy (I got a good price) and one for responding to my inquiries. I'm docking stars for lack of options at check out, the flakey shipper they hired, and the ridiculous wait for domestic shipping.

Tip for consumers:
Shop items available for local pickup or be prepared to wait MONTHS to get your purchase.

Skip the site all together by contacting the seller directly and negotiating price/shipping terms to avoid long wait times.
