I am a full time potter and teacher at Yale University. In my spare time I love to garden and be outdoors.

How I Can Help

Each year I expand my flower and vegetable garden. And now two years in a row - despite a beautiful catalogue they have totally screwed up my order. It's so damn frustrating. And not so much as a coutesy phone call back to attempt to resolve thier screwup. I'll never buy anything from them again and hopefully can convince others not to as well

Last November we placed an order with several items we wanted shipped to us in mid-April. It was delivered to us late February/early March during one of the coldest weeks of the year. The bulk of the order sat on our porch for an entire day and were frozen solid. We tried contacting customer service only to talk to someone in the Phillipines. We tried emailing... no response. I asked that my money be refunded or a new order sent out. To date, nothing has happened. Never again will i buy anything from Gurneys and I will try to pass the word along to as many people as possible.

Tip for consumers:
@ years in a row my orders with Gurney's have been a disaster.
I don't get responses to emails or phone calls back to help resolve the problems.
They are not professional and I would advise anyone interested in buying plants for their gardens to shop at local nurseries and NEVER buy anything from Gurneys.
They are aweful to deal with
