In October I bought 2 pair of Ugg boots. They cost $213.00 with shipping. One "pair" is one boot that is about a size 7 and the other is about a 10. Not good. The other pair are fine, expect that they just did not seem as well made as my usual Uggs that I buy and I have been buying at least one paid a year for the past 20 years. I wrote them through the company's email site, so to not have any sort of emails that I could later find to complain about and they just ignored me.

I wrote them at least once a week saying that the one pair needed to be replaced and the other was not as good of quality as I am used to and I believe it is a knockoff. Never heard back from them.

So when my AMEX card came through with the charge on it, I did all the requisite filling out of paperwork and everything and they got back to me saying that they would investigate.

About 3 weeks later I got a "sorry, but we did everything..." letter from AMEX but since I only communicated with them through the channels open to me through the website (and they don't have to give any of that information up, nor do I get a copy of it in my outbox) and since I only have 3 weeks to lodge a complaint I have to pay the $213 for the 2 pair of Ugg knock-offs. So, don't do business with them. Stick to ShoeBuy or even better,

And, I realize this should be separate, but every single time I have complained about a transaction to AMEX, they ALWAYS side with the company... Just os ya know, AMEX... I'm coming after you, too.


I don't know what else can do to please me more... Maybe send flying fairies to unwrap my new shoes and bluebirds to put them on my feet? Really! Zappos is so wonderful. They have my business for life! You get the lowest prices anywhere, no tax and free shipping both ways for a full 365 days. They ROCK!

I ordered a pair of clogs from them that I needed for a trip. They informed me that it would be over a month until delivery. So I went to my local Nordstrom to see if they had the style/size I needed and they did! Then I wrote to ClogsCentral saying that I found them and to please cancel the order. The next day I got an email that said they has been able to find my clogs and they would be shipped immediately. They have refused to pay to return them even though they originally said it would be a month and suddenly the moment I found a pair locally, ClogsCentral sent me the same pair. They have been so rude to me on the phone and when you are competing with other shoe vendors like Zappos and ShoeBuy who have free return shipping both ways I am very angry that I have to pay $5 for a box of shoes that I gave plenty of notice to cancel. So, do not buy from ClogsCentral (and they also go by other names that always have the word "Central" in it (like BootsCentral)).
