I was attempting to order a Louisiana birth certificate for my son online and -- unbeknownst to me -- a third party entity known as Vital Records Gov intercepted my request, charged me an extortionary fee, provided me with unprintable forms and provided me with more aggravation than they alleviated. My intention was not to deal with such a company, but deal direct with the records department in that state. By forcing me to deal through them, they proved to be a pack of thieves. Thumbs down! AVOID!
Tip for consumers:
I was trying to deal direct with the State of Louisiana to procure a birth certificate for my son when this "service" hijacked my request and demanded extortionary fees IN ADDITION to the fee the State itself was charging. My printer would not print the forms this company sent, so instead of providing me with peace of mind, I got grief and dissatisfaction. Very disappointed!
