You're going to be worried about a whole array of new concerns like maintaining the right water parameters, choosing the best fish food, deciding which decorations are appropriate and whether or not live plants are a good idea. Adding in fish that involve complicated care and stocking requirements just makes things that much tougher.

Large-bodied fish tend to be slow-growing, late-to-mature, high-value species. Many of them are also migratory or have large home ranges. All of these characteristics make large fish more vulnerable to extinction. Take sturgeon for example females of some species don't reproduce until they are over 20 years old; they are full of a product worth thousands of dollars (caviar); and many species must migrate long distances to spawn. These traits make sturgeon particularly susceptible to threats such as overexploitation and habitat fragmentation.

As a beginner, you want to choose the tropical fish that give you the best chance of success with your home aquarium. There is a lot to learn for the fish keeper who is just starting out, and picking fish that are fun and easy to care for is important.

I pet hamster too. Remember that hamsters are small, delicate creatures that can easily be injured. Pet the hamster gently with your index and middle finger down the hamster's back. Use gentle strokes and never make sudden movements. Chances are your hamster will become relaxed and may even fall asleep while you pet him.
