LASTMINUTE.DE
BRAVOFLY.COM

Are SCAM WEBSITES!

Be careful and DON'T EVER BOOK A FLIGHT ON THEM!

I booked SFO - IAD on lastminute.de, cheap flights, on 25th August to go there on 27th August.
As the title says: last minute, this is what this is about.

I paid immediately via online banking. This is their preferred payment option and they gave ~ 20 off for that.

I thought that this was it and took the booking confirmation that I received than per email - for an actual booking confirmation. But it wasn't.

In the night from 25 to 26 at 3 AM (!) I received an email saying that due to my "special wishes" the booking can not be confirmed yet. They were "working on it".

The $#*! guys I thought I had booked already? I had paid you alrady!

On 26 - one day before the flight! I received a letter saying that "unfortunately they had not been able to actually book that flight for me".
"The money would be transferred back and it could take a couple of days".

What the hell guys; I have been booking flights online since more or less the 1990s and this has never happened to me. You pay and you get your ticket. That's the deal.

Alright so I was around 400 lighter.
And still needed to go from SFO to IAD.

Most fun is the following: I actually noticed that my booking confirmation is actually not a booking confirmation on the way to the airport, in the taxi, at 3 AM on Aug 27th.

You pieces of $#*!.

So I was at that airport, August 27th, I could not check in. But I still needed to go.

So I booked another flight for Aug 28th - I am right now here at the airport waiting 24 hours for that flight, and I don't know whether I will have a spot to sleep, but the story is by far not over yet.

I first tried to book that new flight via a website that's called: bravofly.com.

I hadn't noticed that they belong to the same company as lastminute.de

In brief, THE PRECISELY SAME THING HAPPENED ANOTHER TIME and I am another 350 shorter in cash now.

This time, I called them (offices in Berlin, German-language) and speeded up things: they wrote me an email after 2 hrs that "they could unfortunately not book" that $#*!ING flight that I had already paid for, another time.

The guy on the phone said stuff like "yes well, we need to check back with the companies, whether they can actually do that" --?!?!?! When you're not sure, don't offer it!?!
Why do you work in a different way than ALL THE OTHER booking websites out there that work perfectly well?

BECAUSE YOUR BUSINESS MODEL IS SCAMING PEOPLE!

I contacted my bank and hope the latter sum will not be transferred.

I then booked the same flight for tomorrow morning via another site - Kiwi.com.

It cost me 100 more than the sneaky SCAM offer on bravofly.com or lastminute.de.

And after 5 minutes I had my flight ticket in my email inbox.
Normal, honest business.

DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! EVER!

I had, obviously, not expressed ANY special wishes. I wanted a plain cheap plane ticket.

This how it goes with everyone in this business except these sneaky nutters of lastminute and bravofly.

Is what you are doing actually legal -?

In any way:

DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! EVER!

PS: How is it possible you have over 200 bad reviews and 5 good ones here - and the opposite proportion on trustpilot?

Do you pay people to post there?

Serious question
