After reading multiple positive reviews about AD, i decided to use them for the 1st time.
Did my product research & AD seemed to offer the best deal. So win win I was wrong.

Just ordered with them with everything in stock for next day delivery.
I accidentally clicked the wrong delivery option but called them to resolve; only to be told that 2 of the items i ordered are out of stock.
(Their website still shows in stock, as i type this) They can cancel it but will have to wait 3-5 w/days to get me money back.
I called customer service back to confirm this & to add injury to insult, i was charged the full delivery cost.
No apology for their mistake. No offer to resolve their mess-up.

I now have to borrow the money to order the remaining items from AO.com & Currys
Paying more & also paying for 3 different deliveries... so whatever "savings" i would have made w/ AD is lost.

Appliances Direct ONLY care about taking your money. They don't care about resolving problems THEY create.

Please DONT shop with them.

Ill be back w/ an update; lets see if their delivery matches their horrendous service

It amazes me how quickly businesses are quick to take money out of your account but when they offer a horrendous service, suddenly remember T&C's and are full of excuses.

I usually use Parcel2Go or RoyalMail for my eBay postage; no damaged deliveries & have only lost 2 w/ RM. Which they refunded.

I changed to eBays Shutl, as it seemed more convenient. A HUGE mistake.
2 of my items have been lost w/ Hermes & Shutl have avoided resolving.

1st: Items were lost & reported to Shutl to resolve/refund. They waited unitl their 30 day claim period past, before emailing to say they couldnt process.(I reported within the 30days).
I had to refund the seller & lost my item & money

2nd: Sent a natural essence, not even 2.5ml in content.
The essence was in a tin bottle & well packaged.
They claimed its a perfume & on their prohibited list.
Ive sent the same items 6x through Parcel2Go (Hermes). With no issues.
Ive now lost my item & money, again.

Please stay away from them!
Don't bother going to their parent company (eBay) for help.
They're just as incompetent.

Go directly to Royal Mail

On top of that, their customer service is disgusting.

Another business quick to take your money but hide behind T&C's and excuses when they fail

I strongly advise you find another courier.

Great service from IPostParcel/UKMail; I ordered on the 4th May, was given an 1hr time slot, they came as claimed & picked.
I could instantly track the journey.
My parcel was delivered to its destination (Nigeria) on the 9th May Only 2 working days.
I definitely will recommend the service to anyone.

Well done to DHL; ordered through IPostParcel on the 4th may.
Picked up on the 5th & delivered on the 9th to Nigeria.
No issues or long delays. Package intact & nothing missing

I ordered the international shipping service via TransGlobal Express on the 1st May; everything seemed okay.
Went through the motions, paid & printed out the papers.
Prepared everything for pick up on the 2nd between 11-5pm.
I waited by the window, next to the buzzer, from about 10am. Nothing!
Around 6pm, on my way to work, i saw a we missed you card waiting for me.

My postbox is INSIDE the building So how did the driver get into the building but not use my buzzer?
(Its a 4 flat building w/ individual numbers AND an all day service button. Check image)

I called TransGlobal for answers, they looked for every excuse in the book as to the failed pick up, followed by calling UPS, who claimed the driver buzzed, etc. Complete lies!

They offered to come back the next to pick up.

So on the 3rd; i waited in the same position at the same time Nothing.

After a few hours, i called TransGlobal, who had nothing productive to say but gave my number to UPS, who called to saying the driver supposedly came but no one was in I was HOME.
I explained what happened the day before & he reassured me the driver would return the same day & claimed that he would give my number directly to the driver to call me. Not surprisingly, more lies. A complete joke!

I cancelled the order. If UPS cant handle picking up a parcel, how can they handle shipping it across the world.

Took my business to IPostParcel (they use DHL), whos online service was easier; they came the next day (5th) no issues whatsoever & on the 9th (2 working days), it was at its destination.

I contacted UPS to enquire as to how a multibillion £ company cant handle a single package & gave them a few days to respond.
Not surprisingly, no results.

I have wasted my time, effort & resources trying to use their service & ive lost out.
Quick to take my money but cant provide a service

I ordered an international courier service on the 1st May; everything went well.
Printed & prepped the package & waited.
The courier service (UPS) failed the pick up, so i called TransGlobal to enquire; they found all types of excuses for UPS but rebooked for the next day.
I had faith & waited but the next day was even worse; they didnt even bother to call to lie. Just silence.

When i called TransGlobal, i was met with more excuses; no effort to resolve the situation.

I happily canceled & took my business to IPostParcel

The only good thing about TransGlobal is that they refunded my money within a few days but then again, thats down to the Bank, so i guess theres noting good about them.
