  • Course Hero

4/2/24

I tried course hero for a couple quarters. There are so many fake files uploaded to the site that it sort of defeats the purpose of a course hero or "cheating" website. It's a total gamble if you get the correct answers, correct class to correct school and what not. You do not need to pay for it as that is just a cash cow system. No you can upload 10 free files for an unlock. Hence all the fake files on the website.

I used the ai homework helper and it's a gamble if it gives you the correct answer or not. While I am a strong writer and did a lot of college before ai; I am finding my self using it to get past writing blocks. It does work. Though at a cost of uploading 10 files for a free unlock.:/

I feel sorry for the people that have paid for it then realize later it's a site full of junk. Pure junk. Some genuine files are out there but a lot of it is junk. It's a total gamble if it's the correct answers or not.

I did not realize that the files you upload become their property rights after you upload. I started uploading files left and right and now I wish I had not. You are not able to delete anything. Nothing. It's there for ever. So if you're like me and ops uploaded an answer key to a prior quarter; you'd better pray that teacher doesn't dig into course hero and find it. That might get you on the cheating policy and get you kicked out.

Sorry course hero but I am going back to my more conventional safer methods of cheating to pass courses. I've been doing it so much for so many years it's pretty much second nature to me by now. Due to how public this site is I do not deem it as a safe form of cheating. I will no longer be uploading class files to course hero. I am going back to the safer methods of scooting around the system.

I have taken many classes where teachers are super paranoid about cheating. I hate to say it but sites like this have ruined the system of academia.

Use at your own risk. I am glad I didn't pay a single cent to this place. It is a cash cow system to suck money away from poeple. I will not be using this site any more. Teachers update info, change and modify tests so it is pretty much utterly useless to use.

  • Amazon

A major corporation has it's pros and cons. Amazon started out as a book store with online ordering and is now a major mass corporation. The one thing I do not like about amazon is their company has caused many small locally owned business to close in my area. The remaining ones are being sold off into mergers and few locally owned business remain. Online shopping has made it more difficult to find items in stores. It has actually made items in stores more difficult to find. So the online market is winning.

I enjoy the ease of being able to click reorder or order and have it at my door in <72 hrs or even 1/2 a day. Starting in Oct 2023 amazon can not figure out my address. I have instructions clearly put into my delivery directions. I have updated all our neighborhood to be correct in google maps and yet they can not figure out my address. They keep delivering it to a random unit across the street. A lot of my neighbors end up keeping the package. In a way, it's sort of a form of theft. Some of my neighbors are nutty and I dare not go over any time to pick it up off their porch. I just declare it miss delivered. Because I know they'll keep it. I mean what good is cat food to you when you don't even have a pet? At that point it's intentional. I've given up with reoccuring orders. Their time doesn't work for me and I still have better luck ordering one at a time. I either have to order too much or too little. Then when you cancel it they send out the last order be you like it or not. I always end up having to return it and say it was ordered without my consent.

Amazon only allows 10 returns a month. For your average consumer that generally works. However, if you order a lot of groceries (like I use to) you on rare occasion need more than 10 returns a month. Once I had a whole order of bad produce and I could only get 10 returns and had to chuck the other 15 items. Yea that doesn't keep me as a client. My biggest complaint about produce and fresh kitchen meals is that they're always like 1-3 days away from expiration. Always. I buy for a whole week and find out a meal I was hoping to have later in the week expired on Tuseday. That doesn't work. Sending your clients close to expiration date foods. Then being singy on returns and only allowing a 3 day window for fresh returns and only allowing a maximum of 10 returns. That's total bull s*. Sorry but my local grocery store wins my business for this one.

Amazon controls the reviews. They never let more than about 10-20% of 1 star reviews and chuck the rest. They over praise junk items and allow fake review items. This has gotten me more than once on a purchase. I've been banned a lot from reviewing because I'm too "active" Apparently if you negative star most of your items (which they deserved) you're banned from reviewing. This has left me to leave my reviews in the questions as a statement. For some reason amazon doesn't filter these.

Fake reviews. Becoming a Monopoly.

Fake reviews or paid for reviews. Amazon will deny this claim but too many of their reivews are 5 star paid "wow" reviews. I try to post honest reviews and they deny probably about 40% of my reviews. Then scolding me saying my reviews are "fake" "not honest" reviews and I'm sorry but to make such a bold claim on an honest customer is asinine. And it makes me loose faith in your business ethics. Amazon only allows about 5% of negative reviews to go through so it really off sets the product. Please be aware of fake reviews on amazon. I've been trying to get the general public aware of this for years.

Amazon will not let me post reviews because I post honest reviews. Unless i post a 5 star wow review 90% of the time they will not let my reviews to through. I feel this is an ethics violation for consumers miss leading them.

Please be leery of Amazon Choice/Preferred items. I have tried buying a few of these over the years only to find out it's total garbage for a product. Please do not be duped and buy an amazon preferred item. Do your research to feel if it is for you or not.

Many third party china knock off items. It is amazing how many knock off cheap items they allow on amazon and won't review it unless they get too many negative reviews from consumers.

Amazon is wining the consumer market. Thus making it more difficult to find once upon a time items in stores more difficult to find. You use to be able to go to your local market for certain items but due to the online market it's getting difficult to find things such as chapstick, pens/pencils, school supplies and other things in person because of how they've comendered the market in a monopoly.

Please price review. Amaozn relies on people blindly buying product. Watch product on amazon because they offer a percentage discount that goes up and down. I always wait for a 50% off price on more expensive items before I buy. Please price shop with other companies. I've seen people mark up items as much as 500%.

I didn't use to be a heavy user of amazon but due to how they're wining the online market I don't have much of a choice but to buy from them. Yes, I've tried buying locally only to find items in stores are very limited because people are supporting online business over small locally owned business. I admit it is nice to not have to do an errand day three times a month to buy these items you could just subscribe and save to. However, it's at a cost to the local business. In time the online market will probably win and shops as we know them now will probably sell off and be redeveloped with something else. Who knows what traditional shopping will be like in 200 yrs.

I've used Aleks about four times now for math 97, 98, 99 and a practice section before moving onto math 138. I frankly am beginning to hate aleks. After using it for my my program then again before continuing to advanced advanced math you think aleks would of fixed some of their bugs, glitches and wrong answers. Nope! Still the same. It's one of those programs you enjoy at first but hate it the more your use it. It's full of program errors, loop holes and bugs. It counts correct answers wrong and is not very clear in what it wants as an explanation. It isn't uncommon to get stuck on a section and have to use online calculators to push past the stuck sections.

There is a bit of a learning curve for using aleks. It's not always clear in what it wants in an answer. Despite there being old math and new math to get to the answer. I was taught old math and some answer vary despite the fact you should be able to get the correct answer. There is more than one way to do a lot of these problems and aleks decides to use the longest drug out method.

Aleks is like the worst grader for a math program. Where a teacher would correct it for partial credit; aleks just counts it wrong. This is very deturing.

Graph section is a bit glitchy and not always clear in what it wants in an answer. You would think any point along a ray would be correct right? Nope! Unless you input exactly what it is looking for it counts it wrong.

Not uncommon to get stuck on sections. Then after a couple days or time crunch of the class; you are forced to go hunt for online calculators to get the answer.

Not designed to learn it for the first time. As you advance in math it teaches it like you should already know it. I was never blessed with advanced math classes in school. So I am starting fresh zero knowledge. Aleks teaches it like you should already have some concept of the basics and often skips over rudimentary elementary steps that you may of forgotten or were never taught.

Counts many correct answers wrong. Not sure about you but this deturs me from doing math. I read the problems carefully, write down what they displayed, do the math, double check with an online calculator, enter the correct answer only to have the damn program count it wrong. When I do explanation it displays a slightly different version of the problem I entered. This is a major error they refuse to fix. I've experienced it the four times I've used it.

One min per question times how ever many in the exam/test/quiz. I'm sorry but that is not enough time to regurgitate the information. Especially if you're like me and require a little more time on tests. Every math class I've taken I've had to request double test time. Most teachers are good about it but I had one forget.

I wish I knew I could of signed up for personal time in aleks with selected courses. This would of saved me much frustration and a couple repeated classes when taking it at my local college. I highly encourage people to sign up for a personal lesson based upon where they think they should be in math class. Print a digital pdf to your hard drive for future use. I wish I had done this as I noticed many problems in my practice course mirrored my live college course. This basically would of given me the answer or how to so I could get the answer. Instead of guessing and scoring lower. Or being frustrated with the course and leaving the teacher a screw you review.

All I wanted to do was learn math. Of course I went the most expensive route possible and take online classes thru my community college. Plus and minus of this. One it gave me real college credit and proved to me yes it is possible for me to pass math classes. As I dropped out of math immediately after high school. It also taught me that math can be done by anyone, any mental status and you just need the willingness to learn it. I'm tired of the school system saying you can learn this you can't learn this and deciding what math level it will teach you based upon your grades. I always struggled in school and felt my local school system jibbed me on my education and left me behind. I am in my 40's and often get the you're out of place look on campus. I've had a few looks from people think I was stalking them when I was just walking to the classroom for a test/quiz. Good lord people take a chill pill. If college was designed for 20 yr olds then they would have age restrictions on applicants. That would however be age discrimination and against the u.s. constitution. I am full time employment and find online classes are the only way to allow my self to get a degree without juggling ft work. This also saves me the hassle of the "you're out of place look".

Mixed reviews. Now i hate it after going through the whole math program.

Aleks is the worst way to teach math. It generates an algorithm based on what it thinks you should know. This isn't always helpful to the person who is diving into a subject for the first time, needs to review the basics before advancing or becomes frustrated with it's many glitches and loop holes. Aleks it self is a terrible grader and often counts correct answers wrong. It's super frustrating when you get stuck on a section twice as long as you should. I was taught old math and new math should be identical. Nope! New math is confusing as hell and I am seeing why so many people struggle with math now. I often got accused of cheating by my teacher because old math you can do easily mentally and obtain answers quickly.

The graphing section is glitchy. Many times I was frustrated with it's glitches in trying to enter a math problem only to get it counted wrong because I wasn't 100% cretin in how it wanted it entered.

Too many times it counted correct answers wrong. I'd read a problem, write it down, carefully do it according to it's instructions. Only to have it count it wrong. When I went to explain it would give a slight variant of the problem I was given. Thus being an entirely different problem. I passed up to math 130 at my local college and this is a reoccurring issue through the whole program. Why the hell won't aleks get it fixed I don't know?

Tests are no where near any information you were taught. No wonder so many people are deterred from doing math. The program is pretty much set up to fail and discourage students because it's all about money these days not learning.

If you are struggling at math I highly encourage you to go to aleks.com and sign up for a course equivalent to the one you are in for school. This helped me greatly. I wish I had known this before taking math classes live at my local college. The course work is similar if not identical. Every other quarter take a quarter off from math and do this course in addition to your other course work. This would of helped me a lot and it would of given me exposure to the info before taking it.

If you have access to your own master account you can generate practice quizzes and look at the explanation of the tests. Not a guaranteed way to pass but it gives you exposure so you can practice until you score to a passing grade. I really wish I had access to this before I went college live with my classes. It would of saved me from leaving a few screw you teacher reviews.

I recently signed up for aleks.com trig equivalent course. I am stuck and unable to finish the program. The program has skipped over vital lessons that would other wise let me continue. It keeps doing knowledge checks every 10 segments (annoying as hell). And this isn't letting me advance at all. I give up. I can see why so many people are so dissatisfied with aleks. Low test scores, doesn't know how to teach it, bad grader. At college you are only given 60 seconds per math question. If you require more time than that you're screwed.

  • YouTube

8/16/23

As of 8 8 2023 youtube no longer allows you to view suggested videos from the home page on your account. Sorry youtube but this sucks. You want money and data. Data sells so by forcing your users to have their search history on you can snoop on their web browser data and violate their pivacy settings. Then sell that data to marketing companies to make your $$$. I'm sorry but this data practice needs to end. I can not afford cable and often wait for my shows to come to streaming after season ends to watch them. You suck youtube! The sad part is millions of people will turn on their search history to keep their youtube fix going. Not knowing they're being data scammed.

If you don't believe me just go to apple's reviews on the store app and look at all the 1 star reviews they're trying to hide. Spammed with people complaining about not being able to use their home page. Youtube pretty much destroyed it self with this update. I've been using youtube for 2 decades and never once had to require my history to be forced on.

My apps on my devices are pretty much useless with an empty home page unusable. My tvs that have this app on it is also unusable because of this.

You sort of killed your self with this youtube. I will now have to find something else to do.

Please be aware of scammers requesting pay through zelle pay or gift cards. These are classic scams targeting people. I hope this message saves a few people. Once upon a time it probably was not used in this manner but if you give scammers a slip through the cracks they will use it and they will use it to target people. I've never been scammed but that's because I stay up to date with current scams. Two red flags are online payment requests through an odd third party payment site or gift cards.

  • Mud Bay

8/14/23

Been enjoying mud bay for years and highly recommend it. I generally buy in person from my local stores. I switched back to them after having issues with PetPro's online orders. At first I thought mud bay prices were a bit expensive but after price comparing it's about average.

  • YMCA

7/4/23

I cashier and I will never do a membership with the local Y in my area. Why? I cashier and I frequently get to deal with theft rings that come in and use your clientele's stolen cards to buy pre paid visas for 2k and often get away with it because we can't do anything about it.

I tried a membership trial through my hra funds. I wasn't all that impressed with it. So I saved up and waited for holiday seasonal discounts to buy a few exorcise equipment for my home. The classes fill up fast and makes free time in these rooms for those that don't want to nor can afford a class to partake of the machines. Time is limited and quickly disappearing. Dear fellow women: the gym is not a strip club. Please wear clothing that doesn't show your but cheeks nor half your breasts. Please also stop using the weights to dance around like you're on a strip pole. I can't tell you how often I see this and frankly it's disgusting. Staff won't do anything about it. Dear men: please stop common in wearing only shorts and nothing else and these are short shorts. If I wanted to see nudity I'd go some where else.

When I had a trial membership I did a few classes and wasn't completely impressed with their instructors. I had issues of parking spots filling up fast and had to be an hr early to class just to be able to participate. My area has an issue of catalytic converters being stolen from cars and this was a frequent issue as well. Teachers tried a little teaching but often just showed up and let class do what they wanted.

I wasn't all that impressed with my local y and found I used it less and less as time continued. I canceled it and bought my own set of exorcise equipment. I wake up and walk to next room and do my exorcise for 20 min before work and I'm done. During covid it was hell to try and cancel my membership. It should not of taken the gov passing a law dictating clients had the right to cancle it.

  • Nutrimedical

2/4/23

I use to be really "into" his show and highly supported him. He use to talk about medical and science. Around 2019 he changed to political talk. I chose to back out of his show after that as I could no longer tolerate nor enjoy it. I find it ironic that he sweeps the web and deletes any place that allows you to review his show or website.

He is very meticulous in whom he allows on his show and who he does not. He is a very big supporter of alex jones and even continued to let him be on his show even after the sandi hook incident where he so call "claimed" the event "didn't" happen Bull! It did I knew a few people that no longer are alive. I'm frankly glad the community said enough and sued alex. I miss the old days where he talked about medical and science. His show is now a debate of political issues that's mostly one sided and he out talks other guests and doesn't give them much talk time if at all because he starts arguing with them. Unlike in years gone by where he could hold a two way conversation. I'm very concerned in the direction he is carrying his show. He is a trump supporter and thinks the vaccines are hoaxes and with all his medical knowledge you think he would be more supportive of people getting it. I tried listening to his show after trump got elected then kicked out then failed getting re-elected. I can't believe he still thinks the election was stolen and continues to be the lies. As smart as he is, you think he'd come to terms with reality.

I use to buy his supplements and decided to stop once they started getting expensive. $$$. I use to be able to buy several a month now I'm lucky if I can afford a couple a month due to how much they've increased in price over the years. He will argue with me but I notice zero difference in my health when I take them. I still get sick multiple times a year. I agree they're a better gamble than over the counter vitamins which are not monitored by the fda. I had medical issues creep up and his supplements did no good even after tweaking them to be a personal protocol. My health issues only got better because I tossed them out and went to an actual dr. If they tried to cram me full of meds I told them no. It took several different drs before I found one willing to actually help me and referenced me out to specialists in my medical issues. Unless you're earning $40+/hr don't even bother buying them. I earn about $22/hr and can barely afford one or two now if even that. I use to order dozens a month and occasionally there'd be a shipping glitch and I wouldn't get my product(s). Having spent up to $300 on one package and they mailed it to another address on file then they argued with me about not getting it. Sorry but that ain't right. This kept happening so I pulled my business for a while. Returns are not easy and you often have to unprofessionally argue with them for them to agree upon a return. I know he praises the alicine med products but all that got me was bad garlic breath and constipation. I still got sick several times a year and no longer believe his supplements work. He'll argue with me on this but I will no longer buy his products.

  • Uber Eats

10/4/22

I've had numerous complaints from local individuals about their food being delivered to wrong address, arriving late, never announcing delivered, not being delivered within the time frame for food safety standards... A prior home owner from 3 owners ago (my house) failed to update their address in their uber eats and I started getting their orders all of a sudden. I've tried it a few times and often felt uncomfortable eating the food for fear of sanitation concerns.

The job it self isn't all that great. I had a friend do it and you're pretty much a delivery driver. Good lord it's not that difficult to read an address fellow uber eats coworkers. Pay isn't all that great either. The amount of wear and tear you put on your car is ridiculous. The cost in maintenance and fixing doesn't do justice for your pay. The only good this job did me was the amount of auto collecting it let my gotcha evolve get in pokemon go.

(gotcha evolve auto collects pokemon in pokemon go and allows me to play hands free basically. One cheat is you can use it while driving. Legal so long as your phone remains zipped in a pocket.)

  • Instacart

10/2/22

As a cashier I can not support instacart any more. More than one employee has been rude and disrespectful to me on a regular basis. You help them keep their job but yet you literally get treated like a slave. Very few instacart employees are actually nice to the cashiers and employees at the store levels. More than once they've harassed me about being "stupid" at my job and told me how to do it down to the order in which they want it. Good lord take a this stuff with a grain of salt people. I've been doing this gig 15 years and I'm a pro at it. Yet you treat me like I'm some dumb newbie hick that's a dumb f*.

I understand when you employees buy liquor on an hourly basis for customers it gets tiresome showing your id all the time but those are the rules. Many locations scan id now. I can't tell you how many employees argue with me over this simple rule.

Employees fail to sort their orders before check out and insist on rudely handing you one item at a time instead of organizing it before check out. This happens on a daily basis and boy do shoppers get pissy when you ask them to sort the order instead of rudely shoving each item in your hand. Then acting like di--cks when they miss an item and blame it on the cashier and say "It's all your fault." Sorry employee it's not my fault. You're responsible for this sh-it.

Program generates child labor. As a cashier I can't tell you how many you children I see follow their parents around the store as they shop orders through out the day. Kids as young as 2 yrs old I've seen helping mom carry bags to the car. When you support instacart you're supporting child labor. I had a elementary school girl know the instacart app really well because her mother taught it to her and she loved doing it. She was maybe 8 and she was a pro at it. I can't tell you how much child labor this program supports. Instacrt refuses to acknowledge this fact as there's no way to prove it but this program generates child labor.

I've more than once had incredibly disrespectful instacart employees shop through my store. After one unsettling incident I decided I'd make a duplicate of the receipt and report them on my break or after shift. After the third time I stop seeing employees as they must put it as a mark on their record.

I can't tell you how many people can't figure out what side of the street their on. My area has store 1 on one side of the street and store 2 on the other side. I can't tell you how many people get their stores wrong. So if they get the store wrong they'll just abandon a large order and force the employees to put it away. Gee thanks for your inability to tell what store you're in then generate unnecessary extra work for us. Thanks a bunch.

More than once I've seen employees do multiple orders. That's all fine but I can't tell you how often I see them just abandon this order in the store for up to an hour, yes an hour+ while they deliver and finish other orders. Mean while their perishables are all going bad or have gone bad by the time they get there.

Sanitation of the employees cars worries me. I can't tell you how many times I've helped out a 2+ cart order out to their personal vehicle and noticed how dirty it is. It's not just it could use a cleaning it's filled with so much litter it's not even sanitary for the driver. Not sure about you but I don't want my food touching that car.

Another sanitation thought: How many people do you think fail to wash their hands after they utilize the restroom? It's a high amount I can tell you that.

  • Fred Meyer

Not the best company to work for. Employees get treated like dirt, your status in society is pretty much a slave with zero rights, your schedule suggestions are null and void half the time, Jrnyman pay isn't the best but it's finally gotten above $20/hr. No longer a career job. Union has it's pros and minuses but it would be even worse without one.

Customers vary from nice to the scummiest of society and lack manners towards retail workers.

Kroger has fantasy rules written by corporate pencil pushers that don't understand that half their rules don't make sense when you practice them at the store level.

I'm not sure why but most of our most senior employees are grumpy@$$ holes. It's like they have a stick up their butt and they're only happy if they make every one else miserable around them.

I've been employed with kroger for about 15 yrs and it isn't the best job I speak very highly of. It's a minimum wage, pay check to paycheck, go no where job. The only promotion in the company is management and not everyone is cut out for management.

The company keeps the minimum wage cycle going by encouraging high turn over and would rather loose employees than pay them enough to stay long term. Face it the company is winning because people don't want to suck up the job 2+ yrs to get to a "livable" wage.

Unless you budget live with this income you can't survive in this economy. I've been pulling $18/hr for most of my life and I've managed just fine. You get kids these days complain about being broke all the time and they're pulling in more than I ever use to. Well if you'd live on a budget you'd be able to have some spending cash.

The company is either heavy at enforcing the corporate rules or they're very slack at it. It varies store to store. Each time I transfer to a new store it's like learning how to work all over again. Even though you think it'd be all the same policies and procedures. Nope it isn't.

I can't tell you how many times I've gotten the union involved for stupid b. S. the company tries to pull on you and other coworkers. Having a hidden disability i can't tell you how much they keep their disabled people at courtesy clerk level for ever 'n a day. You are pretty much last resort for promotion and even then they have to be desperate. This is illegal but yet they're getting away with it. By law if one candidate has a disability they are required to get the job over the "normal" individual. I had to apply to multiple stores before someone even said yes.

Toxic work environment. This is a toxic work environment. Employee moral is at an all time low and the company tries to do temp band aide fixes but fails to actually fix the issues at hand. You can't just toss junk food at us and make it all better.

Some coworkers get a way with so much b. S. at this company that's it's ridiculous. It takes 2 years to fire someone. At every store I've worked at there's always that "one" individual that's nasty as hell and due to the union they still get to keep their job. I've worked other lines of employment that fire people like this immediately. People can get a way with so much sh--it at this company it's ridiculous.

Some stores are worse than others. Face it I've worked at multiple locations due to various reasons and it varies store to store. Some stores are dumping grounds they send flaky on your last chance employees. Other stores have hard workers trying to get by but once you've been thrown under the bus a time or two by management and/or customers you give up. Some stores have several bitter long term coworkers with a stick up their@$$ or something.

  • Lyft

This program generates a lot of unsafe drivers on the road. More than once I've been cut off, had near accidents with ride share drivers being in a hurry and have been cussed out by these drivers because they think they're exempt to the rules of the road.

I recently had an issue with a driver who was recklessly cutting between traffic to get faster ahead. Instead of going behind me the dash cam showed him intentionally swerving in front of me almost hitting me. I got out and talked to him but the guy was a total douche with lack of customer service, cussed at me and told me it was all my fault. I contacted my insurance about the near miss and they said it would of been his fault. One look at the front/rear videos and he would of been 100% at fault from turning left from the non left hand turn lane. As we didn't collide they said to just file complaints with the ride share service he was affiliated with.

When I have used this service before I've had drivers drive right past me to another client. I occasionally rely on them for work and it isn't uncommon for the driver I selected to bypass me all together. Thus making me late for work.

Vehicle cleanliness. It varies from client to client but every now and then I've noticed a really dirty gross vehicle. If you dock them a couple stars for it you know it affects their rating and if they don't have at least a 4.0 they'll get a talking to from their manager.

  • FoodNetwork

5/10/22

I use to enjoy food network when they were new back in the day when they were young. Their recipes are terrible and I've tried several recipes over the years and they're just getting worse. I recently took a cooking class and they used a few recipes from food network. I nearly gagged on the end result because of how bad it was and I followed the recipe step for step, matched each ingredient to the brand they suggested. The smell from it was horrid and the taste even worse. Each one was a waist of money and they just went right from the oven to the garbage can.

Food network controls and only publishes 5 star reviews. If it's negative, valid or speak ill will of the recipe; they do not post it at all. Please do not be duped by the reviews on their website.

I highly suggest America's Test Kitchen over Food Network. Food Network has tanked over the years and the <3 star review on sitejabber also hold this fact true.

My neighborhood thread does not take things with a grain of salt. It's so damn easy to offend people. People think the comments are directed at them but not as a whole society. Instead they stock and harass the people who wrote the post. This website clearly changes the behavior of individuals in our society.

All I did was post to please stay home if you're sick then all the people with allergies and other medical conditions got pissy as hell with me. Good fu-ck people take this sh-it with a grain of salt.

What a wonderful way to provide testing kits to your home. These things are expensive to begin with. This whole thing became too politicalized *cough "T..." cough*. Only near the end of the restrictions being lifted do we finally get ppe and supplies from our government. Oh, well what do you expect from a government...

If you tried to place a first order early on when they released it; if you waited until the third day you were out of luck. They ran out by the evening of the first day. Don't give up. They'll eventually arrive to you. They're just on back order. Once a month you can place one order per house hold. They'll send you 1 box that has 5 tests. This is great if you wake up with a common cold or common cold like symptoms, or came in contact with a ton of sickies. The only down side to this is if you live with 2+ people. Then you'll need to buy testing kits at your local store/pharmacy. Do keep in mind that "most" insurances can let you get reimbursed. Save the receipt should you be able to deduct medical funds on your taxes too.

I do thank the government for allowing employers to allow workers to not work while sick. I can not tell you how many times in the past I was forced to work sick. This virus has currently changed how employers handle people calling out for a couple days due to a virus or common cold. In the past if you had so much of a scratchy throat you had to work until it was damn obvious you were sick. My viruses never got to that stage due to my strong immune system. I'd feel cruddy for a few days then move on. Mean while my coworkers start getting sick around me. This could of been prevented by allowing us to call out instead of being forced to work sick.

I love their yogurts and I'm glad their branch started expanding from their single shop in Seattle out into the rest of the world. Their a little expensive but worth it. This is my favorite local fruit on the bottom yogurt.

The only negative is that it's expensive. Unless you're earning about 20% above minimum wage you're probably not going to be able to afford this wonderful yogurt. The 6 oz size is $4.99 or roughly $5 by the time you multiply it by 4-6 yogurts well that's $20-$35 :(. It started out at $2.99 and has been going up a $1 annually since they released it to the stores. This has unfortunately made me buy this as a special treat. Not a daily yogurt. Chobani and Noosa are my other go to brands.

I use to buy this brand all the time because it was pretty consistent. I despise it when manufacturers decide to all of a sudden change their products or slightly alter their measurements. This brand was swell for decades and now all of a sudden they decided to change their sizing. I use to buy their women briefs underwear but due to the recent size change the manufacture needs to change the brand labeling to "panties". I've always run a certain size but now their sizes run on the small size. They no longer fit me. I tried to return my unused unopened package on Amazon through the Haynes Amazon dealer but apparently it's "All sales final. Period!" Well that sucks. Haynes has always been a cheap brand to buy. I noticed after this most recent purchase the item is falling apart after just a couple washes. :(. Now that's not a good sign. After a month of owning them they're splitting at the seams. I thought one way to keep customers is the quote "Satisfaction guaranteed." Haynes lost me as a life long customer. Due to the fact underwear is more expensive than it use to be I will no longer be buying from a company where they literally fall apart after 2 months of washing. Fruit of the Loom brand will be my go-to brand from now on. They've served me well in the past.

Due to the fact I could not return these Haynes briefs I had to just toss them out. I tried one for a day and they were uncomfortable because they ran small and ridded all day. I threw every one of these out. It was a waist of $20.

So it's not just me. After reading the other reviews: This company has decided to sell out for money and not customer satisfaction. I noticed a quality drop about 10 years ago and it's only getting worse. I've had to resort to buying my underwear online because the stores always run out or never have in stock my size.

  • Kohl's

11/20/21

I use to be all about Kohl's clothing but their quality as of late has tanked. Pricing use to be cheaper than the malls but due to inflation it is now about the same. Due to set pricing from manufacturers.

Their quality has tanked and I'm noticing my shirts come to the heavy wear and tear look after just a few 2-3 months of ownership. I'm very gentle with my clothing and can generally get my cloths to last 2-4 years. In the past year I have had to toss out Kohl's shirts in 1-2 months of ownership due to the quality decline.

Their shirts generate holes after just a few shy washes and their pants end up shrinking up 1/2 a size after a month of washes. I line dry so they can't blame it on the dryer. I cold water wash so they can't blame it on the washing.

Kohl's tailors their designs to the standards of society. Let's face it society dresses sloppier, hygine has slipped and their frankly well obese. Kohl's clothing is tailored for the chunky side of soicety. After I went from the 300 lbs look to a "normal" size I am struggling to find clothing that even "fits". All too often I have to go to the petite section for my cloths now.

Multi gender changing rooms. I don't know about you but I feel very uncomfortable in multi gender changing rooms. I feel wired out hearing a male mumbling to his wife in the changing room next to me. I asked and they quoted "Family friendly changing rooms." Yea right you don't want to enforce the gender policy. Every damn time I come in here I hear men quoting to their wife's how that outfit looks good on their butt.

Clothing rooms are randomly open or closed. Even though the government has dictated them open all to often I'll come in and find them closed. My state dictiated these open last summer but they randomly close them for some damn reason. I will not buy clothing without trying them on first. If you try a shirt on in the aisle the staff harasses you about it. When I do online ordering I end up returning 95% of the order due to odd sizing.

Is it me or is there less on the shelves than there use to be? I know the supply chain has been interrupted a little but not to this degree. The only thing I can conclude is they don't want shoppers to stay more than 20-30 min if even that.

Mask policy isn't enforced. I see too many customers fail to wear masks and the other percentage wear them correctly. 40% of customers fail to wear them correctly if at all.

I've decided to stop shopping kohl's and go back to Macy's and the higher line of clothing. I'm done buying low quality clothing. In prior years it didn't matter but now it does.

I miss group health. I'm switching to ppo plan in september to get away from this sh-itty system. I have found the best way to get health diagnoses is to go to out of network drs that specialize in that area. Other wise you're treated like an emergency room patient at kaiser then sent on your merry way. I'm so sick of kaiser.

  • WebAssign

After taking a couple courses using webbasign for Bellevue College I found it to be a useful resource for teachers and students.

Pro's:

Easy centralized website for students and teachers to access assignments, tests and quizzes.

Assignments are clearly organized and easy to navigate through.

Digital book.

Can access information any where any time so long as you have internet connection.

Con's:

Digital book. The digital book is very unstable and not easy to read in anything older than the most current technology. Not everyone has the financial ability to have the best and latest technology. If I had more than two copies of the book open to flip through pages it literally crashed my computer and gave me the blue screen of death. I literally hold onto my computers until they die or are so out of date they are compatible with nothing. I think I fell behind in the class because I struggled just trying to get the digital book to load correctly half the time. I will request a paper copy next time. I have read digital books but I struggle in them. I find I learn more easily with a real book.

Zero lenience for wrong answers on the tests. My teacher said if you got the answer wrong in webbasign she'd adjust your grade for you based upon your notes. She lied. I saw no such thing. If you select one answer wrong you're that's it; it's done. I flat out failed a course because of this. Thank you for my F webbasign. I don't test well and this thing just made me flat out fail. I do not take timed tests well and there was insufficient time to take tests. The bulk of the time I only got about half the test done. For an easy course I'm surprised how difficult the teacher made her tests. Each test was as difficult as an end of the quarter exam.
