The idea of a Q&A site is great, but I think Yahoo Answers might be misleading millions of people because so many of the answers are just plain wrong and it's impossible to tell!
I used to use the site often when I wanted to look something up, but then I ran across some questions that I knew the answer to, and the answers on Yahoo Answers were wrong. I no longer use Yahoo Answers for anything (it would be like trying to learn history by reading Dan Brown).
Aziz Ansari is the funniest comedian I've seen since Dave Chappelle. He's great as the racist food cart owner on Flight of the Concords and in The Human Giant. Here's his blog.

This site has some sweet canceled shows including the always awesome, Yacht Rock. Want to watch Hall and Oats pick a fight or Michael McDonald write "I'm a fool to believe"? Look no further.

I'm a huge golfer, and I've found my membership in the Northern California Golf Association to be well worth it. If you just play Poppy Hills or Poppy Ridge once you basically make up the cost of the membership fee. I love it.
I mostly agree with Frank. Depending on where you live, GolfNow's discounted tee times are sort of skimpy, and I feel like I get better deals from my local golf association. You can find your local golf association here:

Got to credit LilRebel for inspiring me to review this, but man I love Urban Dictionary. When I was 12 I would have loved nothing more than looking up dirty slang words to impress my friends. Who I am kidding, I still do, which is why I sign up for the Urban Dictionary word of the day. So the next time your a girl wants to "DTR" you'll be prepared http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=DTR&defid=*******
If you want to read about the latest developments in science and technology there is no better place online than the MIT Technology Review. Only the nerds of MIT could bring you such an indespensible resource. Please be aware that I say "nerds" with the greatest of admiration.
Looks like a Craigslist ripoff to me. What's the point?
This site looks like a legit "scam" blog but if you take a closer look it looks to just to be another scam itself. They are trying to make people sign up for their own work at home scam: http://www.ivetriedthat.com/our-top-recommendation-the-wealthy-affiliate/
Don't fall for it.
If you live in China or another country that blocks internet sites, Hotspot Shield is worth a try. You have to sit through ads, but it's worth it to check YouTube and Facebook in China.
A search engine that organizes search results for you - Google is so late 90s. It just gives you a big list of websites which can be a big pain in the $#*! to sort through to find what you're looking for. Kosmix is much cooler. It takes your search term and organizes the results for you into videos, forum posts, yahoo answers, related topics, and a bunch of other cool stuff.
The one negative of Kosmix is that it is not yet good for everything. Some topics like health I find to be very useful. But for other random information it doesn't work as well. For example if you type in someone's address all you get is a Google search. But if you do that in Google you get Google Local results which inlcude a map and reviews of the location if it's a business.
So for quick searches I still use Google. But if I want more in-depth information, I use Kosmix.
All your friends from all your social networks in one place - I've been waiting for someone to do this, so I'm glad Power.com did. I want to be able to go to one place that I can keep track of all my friends from all my social networks. Power.com isn't bad - my only complaint is that I would like it to include LinkedIn.com too.
Imeem makes you log in to access a very mediocre music site - Sometimes I just want to hear a song that I don't have an MP3 of. So I Google it. I get lots of crap, lyrics, spam, etc. But I usually get a link from Imeem promising free music. So I get all excited and click on it. But what do I get? A pop up window telling me to register. I don't want to register. I just want my song. But just to see if it was any good, one time, I did register. And the site sucks! They don't have that many full legth songs, and I don't see why I would use it over Favtape (the best for listening to music) or Pandora (the best for discovery).
Stay away from Imeem.
US Government's website, actually pretty good - When I think of the US government's website I think of slowly-loading, convoluted pages filled with links to text filled documents and pdf files. And certainly, there is still some of that. But I have to say, when playing with the website the other day, I was pretty impressed. It's easy to use and fast.
Some interesting links on finding a job, also the always-fascinating secret service, and the all-important Federal Government contact us page. All in all, I must say, I like our government's website.
Plaxo is totally useless and spams me all the time - Back in 2001-2002, Plaxo seemed like a great way to keep your address book current. But today, Plaxo is completely useless. I use Facebook and Linkedin, which do a better job of helping me keep track of people. All Plaxo does is spam me with emails every day. I can't believe Comcast bought them.
Like Muxtape but oh so much better - The crappy thing about Muxtape was it was impossible to find anything. And then it got shut down:(
Favtape is sweet. You can listen to full length songs, and you can browse around and find sh*t. BOOM!
I hope it doesn't get shut down too!
The Flaming Lips is the most creative band anywhere - Megaphones, flashlights, giants bunnies, and Santa Clauses - and that's just in the first 5 minutes of their live show. The Flaming Lips are a sensation brought to you by the genius of Wayne Coyne and Steven Drozd. Wayne, the lead singer, has never had a strong voice. Instead he relies upon obsessive hard work and his unique vision for entertainment. Steven, on guitar and drums, is the former heroine addict who is the real musical genius behind the band's success since the middle 90s.
If you're interested in the band, you've got to see The Fearless Freaks - and excellent documentary about the band that shows the men and the lives behind the madness and genius. http://www.fearlessfreaks.com/
It's also worth seeing the band's uniquely bizarre collection of music videos:

If you don't own any Flaming Lips music, I would suggest starting with the Soft Bulletin: http://www.amazon.com/Soft-Bulletin-Flaming-Lips/dp/B*******JC6C

Beware, bigbigwatch is a scam - My buddy got spammed by this site. I wouldn't trust it for anything.
If you can put up with the snotty ivy leaguers... - Ivy Plus hosts decent singles mixers in LA and San Francisco. Sure there are lots of douche bag guys, but not everyone is bad, and it's a good way to meet new people.
The newspaper of the smart kids - If you believe experience is for old people, and being smarter than everyone else is the new black, then you should be reading the Harvard Crimson. Sure it's just a college newspaper, but it's the best college newspaper (yeah, you heard me - suck on it, Yale) and it covers the events of Harvard which can be pretty interesting (heads of state, Nobel Laureates, Natalie Portman, whatever).
