SO, I was on City Chic's website and their other store The Avenue and I almost purchased 4 dresses from them when I screwed my head on and looked at reviews online from different sources. OMG, this company has terrible reviews all over the net and it stopped me from completing the purchase. I hit my back button as fast as I could and landed on Macy's website and found one of City Chic's dresses there, and despite it was 3 times as much money it was far more important to me to get my product in a timely fashion and get it without a bad odor (as some of the reviews indicated their items smelled). Well it was very late at night and I made my purchase and went off to bed. While lying there I thought, "I wonder if Nordstrom's has these". So I got up and lo and behold they did and they were $30.00 cheaper and I purchased one! Now stay with me, it gets juicy!

The next morning I called Macy's and asked them to cancel my order and they are very kind and the CS rep. Said he could not cancel it on his end but he will send a cancellation request to the company (city chic... eeek!) asking them to cancel it and my heart dropped and my mind went into overdrive. I then told the Macy's customer service rep. That the company (city chic) is not a good company and that despite it was not even a day from my purchase that I had a pretty good feeling that they were not going to cancel my order. I said, they were going to ship it out because all they care about is money, not the customer. The Macy's rep. Said, well just turn around and send it back and we'll take care of it. I KNEW this was going to happen and yessiree, I was right!

The following day I received a "your order has shipped!" LOL I mean what a scrubby company! I'm tired of what's happened in this society today. I own a business and I would never, ever do that, never! I want to keep customers not shew them away for a measly $130.00! LOL OMG, it's just so sad. And the thing is no doubt, City Chic hopes it will be a burden for me to return it. Little do they know I ship product out every day, so it's really not a big deal for me to ship out another item.

So the bottom line is, I feel all the negative reviews are most likely honest. I tried to run from them when I initially read the reviews online only to get sucked into their fail business practices in another arena, sigh.

No more, never again, they are off my radar and IMO they cannot redeem themselves under any circumstances. They made a decision to possibly lose a customer because money meant more to them, instead of trying to salvage one and in the end, they lost. Have fun with that City Chic, I guess $130.00 bucks means more to you than being a good business and taking care of your customers.

People, ladies, beware of this company! They take your money without even having the product in stock or without even knowing when the product will be in stock! They also do not post on their website what wigs/colors are out of stock because they expect you to email them and ask them if it's available! Who does that! What reputable website makes you email them to see if your toothpaste is in stock? Run! Hit your back button! Do whatever you have to do to stay off their website. They took over $420.00 and change of my money and told me they could not refund me. Lol "Could not", what business cannot refund a customer? I'm sorry but these people are comical to say the least.

But the big issue is, consumers unknowingly go to their website thinking they are reputable and believing (BECAUSE IT'S NOT POSTED THAT A CERTAIN COLOR OR WIG IS NOT AVAILABLE) when they place their order that it will ship out in a timely manner like any reputable e-commerce website on the net would, but NO! The product is not available and you might have to wait 2-4 months for your items.

AND here's the kicker, they charge you despite they don't have the product and don't even know when it will be in and their policy is... Drum Roll please... you cannot cancel the order! LOL Who the hell are these fail monkeys! Who are these thieves, I mean it's criminal what they do, but they protect themselves by having a policy that no one reads because most "reputable" websites would never post that they "cannot" refund you! Wigstudio1 you mean you "will not" because you're too cheap to reap the return fees! You make me sick, I have zero respect for your business, or lack thereof I should say.

People, run, hide, don't go there, they are cheap, money hungry grubs who don't give a rip about your (key word here) YOUR money, well, until it's in their hands I mean.

OMG Scotty, beam me up!

Tell it like it is, tell your story and how it made you feel. We are the consumer, we need to help each other by telling the truth. So tell the truth.

I've ordered from Cosbar's online source a couple times and only had one terrible, and I mean terrible experience. I placed an order to the tune of $850.00 and change. They were having a really good sale and I use a couple La Mer items in my skin care regimen. So I ordered some of my go to La Mer products and yes, they're pricy but the discount came to 38% off of which you never see in the retail market and I dived in hard. So after placing my order a few days went by, then a few more, and no shipping conformation email. About a week went by when I got a wee bit irritated and went online into my account and saw that the order was cancelled. O. M. G. was I pissed off to the nines!

I tried to contact their CS to no avail and then decided to contact one of their actual stores and asked for a manager. I proceeded to explain to her what happened and how ticked off I was because they didn't even email me and tell me they cancelled it. They let me sit there and wonder what the heck happened and being a business owner myself that is a HUGE no no! How rude! How disrespectful! How inconsiderate! YOU don't do that!

This manager I have to say was wonderful! She offered me all the products I had previously ordered with the same discount despite the sale was over and not only that, she included a ton of deluxe samples of the products that I actually use. She turned lemons into lemonade and while I still get a little ticked when I think about what happened, I'm so pleased with how she stepped up the plate and took care of me. She is good at what she does and while I won't purchase from their website again, I will purchase from her. Her shipping was fast and packaged beautifully. Bravo!

Tip for consumers:
Don't order a big order, keep it small or call a store.

Seriously, what's not to love? A tried and true company with a wealth of experience in offering everyday items we use on a continual basis. I've ordered many times from their online store and have had zero issues. Packaged well, decent shipping times and unused, un-touched items.

I mean, need I say more? This company has a dedicated customer and I'll keep coming back as long as they offer free shipping and I never receive a used or opened product. :)

I've been a Godiva lover for years and what I love most is you can send a gift almost anonymously! It's wonderful! Just put your first name and a little message and that's all the recipient will see.

AND... lets not forget the amazing product! The chocolate coffee, the hot cocoa and mhmmm their divine chocolates! What's not to love?!?

It's my go to when I want to send something special and yummy.

I've shopped with Timeless for over 4 years and have never had a bad experience. I order 3-5 times a year and they ship in a timely (no pun intended) fashion, package well and products are wonderful! I hope this company flourishes and continues to offer their stellar product especially their Vitamin C serum... what a difference it's made to my skin!

Nothing but love coming their way from this uber girly girl who loves and adores her skin care and especially those that come from Timeless!

This is a good company and I've shopped with them for years. Even though a big order comes in 6 different boxes the shipping is the same, Free over $35.00.

All products have never been used or opened unlike those at times from Walmart and in the days of covid. That means a lot.

Nothing but love for this company and I will always keep coming back!

While I've only ordered once from this company, it was a good experience and based on that, I will order again. Also, I do not get bombarded with a host of emails. I do receive one every now and then but they do not send out 5 a week like other companies.

So, so far so good, thumbs up. :)

In a sea of amazing websites who needs iherb?!? I could not even get past the login/create an account phase! They want your first born to even open an account. Lets get this straight, YOU will not get my phone number. Just who do you think you are and more importantly who do you think you're dealing with? I will never, ever, shop with your company. You will never get my business. If an email and address is not good enough for you, well then, you know what you can do.:)

There are too many good companies on the net who do not "require" a phone number to even contact their support! LOL I could not even contact their support because they demanded a phone number LOL! Goodbye piece of dung iherb. O. M. G. you fail and you lose.

Tip for consumers:
Do not give your phone number out, it's private and they don't need it. They simply want to sell your inf. be smart and walk away, hit your back button, find another source they're out there and they don't require a phone number. sigh

I could not even get to that point!

First and foremost I've been purchasing Avoderm Tuna & Crab wet cat food for years and years. It's been the only cat food my furry boy would eat, he loved it! Big chunks of pink fish, a light colored gravy and bits of crab with no off putting odor. I would literally have to cut up the chunks of fish they were so big and gorgeous. BUT NOW... O. M. G.! This is the most disgusting cat food I've ever seen and/or smelled in my life. The gravy is dark, oily, no noticeable chunks of fish or crab, it's a vile sluggish, soupy, gross smelling mess and my cat won't touch it, HE WILL NOT EAT IT.

I reached out to the company (Avoderm) asking them what happened. Well lets get this part straight, there's not a stupid bone in my body. I KNOW what that cat food looked and smelled like and more importantly, so does my cat. So who in the h*ll do they think they're fooling!?!?!? AND now, now to hear that Breeder's Choice owns Avoderm. Well well now, doesn't that make perfect sense! YES, you better believe they changed the formula AND, they lied to me about it. I will be keeping that lying email and the food because you just never know if you may need it. And yes, I'm sitting on 3 cases of this vile disgusting trash, certainly can't call it food lol. Furthermore, until Breeder's Choice gets their act together and stops treating the public at large like we're stupid, I'll be sharing this with anyone who will listen and anywhere I can post a review. You tried to insult my intelligence, lied through your teeth and ruined a gorgeous product with your cheap greed, you don't deserve a good review, let alone the consumers business.

All in all, buyer beware because since Breeder's Choice took them over, lets just say IMO, they could give a rip about your furry loved one.

This was my second order with this company. My order was to the tune of $100.00 and change. For me that is a small order but nonetheless it's a good size order. Everything was fine with exception to the 3 lippies.

The Lippie Stix OH Snap smelled strong of gross crayon and not a good crayon, it is disgusting. That said, we all know when a lipstick smells like crayon it means it's OLD. There's no getting around that.

The Lip Crayon Chubby Bunny Bundle, both lipsticks have this sweet disgusting "mildew" smell. So bad that I had to wipe it off my lips.

In email I was treated like I don't know what I'm talking about. Customer Service said, "these are new" (in two emails). Like hell they are! All three of these smell so bad no one would use these and I mean no one. Their CS lies, does not care, and is not there to help. It's clear and evident.

I own a business, and if I conducted business like this, I wouldn't have one. I will never shop with this company again and I hope that you who have had bad experiences will understand that in a sea of gorgeous products and solid business's (unlike this one) there is no need to continue on and be treated like this, simply turn around, walk away, and never look back.

The bottom line is, the culture of a company begins at the helm and so, I blame the owners.

P.S. Thanks to Credit card companies, I WILL get my money back.

I have never had a bad experience with this company! The only thing that did happen is one of my items was out of stock and I understand that those things happen. I really wanted the dress but if it's out of stock, it is. Humans aren't perfect and I imagine their inventory was off. I keep coming back and always will.

I have to wonder when I've ordered from a cosmetic company for a very long time and have had nothing but amazing experiences that some of the negative reviews are by those women who are simply angry at life. It's beyond me! I don't get it! This company has closed their doors as the owners are heading out to travel the world and wow I loved them and I'm going to miss them! They always took the best care of me! And speaking of Alexis, she was the most honest, direct and fantastic lady to deal with! I did get to know her, and yeah she was a take no $#*! type of business owner and if someone tried to pull the wool over her eyes she would call them on it in a new york second. She told me stories, and some of you women are simply terrible, just terrible human beings.

Anyway, I had to stick up for YC, I shopped with them for over 10 years and never had an issue. One time "I" ordered the wrong item and did not try to pull it off like they made a mistake, I'm the one who made the mistake. Nonetheless, they exchanged it out and took the best care of me. I will miss them dearly but hope they never have to deal with some of you angry women again. I understand what she went through because I own a business too and a lot of women, those who expect everything for nothing, those who expect to be pampered and those who think they are the only ones on the planet... yeah, you all just suck. Lol

One of my go-to stores. I have shopped with nordies for eveah! The only thing I wish they'd change is their shipping takes a long time. They need to use the US Postal Service, they are so fast but all in all I love this store and their customer service stellar.

I placed my order in May, it's now the middle of June. This order was a bit pricey, over $490.00 and change worth of cosmetics for my 3 nieces that I was giving them as gifts. I spent 3 hours putting it together and come to find out tonight (after wondering where the heck my order was as I'm going to see them in a week) they cancelled it without notice. YET, they have not contacted PayPal to cancel it. And lets be very clear, I'm not worried about PayPal, that's really not an issue. The issue is, that they had the audacity to cancel an order without any kind of communication, any kind of consideration or respect for a customer. I now have to go to Nordstroms, (of whom would NEVER do what they did) and put together new gifts.

I own a business, and if I conducted business practices like this, I wouldn't have one. Furthermore, Tarte, your products are for kids. I don't use your childish line but it's sad that your business practices resemble that of a child. I hope others will walk away from your company. I hope that in a sea of gorgeous products and solid business's that people understand there is no need to continue on and be treated like this, simply turn around and walk away. I am going to post several reviews about this and when I'm done, I will never have to think about your company again.
