Why are game companies willing to pay you 20,50 or 100x the price so you can stay on your couch?
Doesn't make sense does it...

This site warns you against testing scam sites...- this one is also a scam. (^_^) It's warning you to beware of scams, but it's all a lie too (and it is undoubtedly the brainchild of someone who owns one of the sites it's "warning" you against - maybe they're all by the same guy, Alex Lum -- I don't know and I don't really care). These sites exist to take money from you, not to help you get a full-time testing job.

I have just recently completed my Certification for Game Testing through PowerUp Games. I have been an avid gamer for my entire life and must admit I was a bit of a cocky know-it-all before taking this course. But quickly found that the information supplied was very useful and informative. It was right to the point and educational.
I walked away with a huge array of new knowledge and understanding of terms and the gaming industry as a whole. With excellent one on one support I was able to create an impressive cover letter and resume. I have also assisted with where and how to properly apply for the places I am interested in. As well as tips for my soon to come follow up interviews.
This course was an excellent investment for my new career in the gaming industry and I would highly recommend it to anyone ready to break into the industry.
