I had to pay Fortress locksmiths £1,890 to board up my partially smashed door. I expected to receive more than £142.77 compensation for sure. They were only prepared to give me a replacement glass door which would have invited another future smash-up. I consider the value of my current Anglian door to be worth more. Absolutely disgraceful

Don't know why when a savings account is maturing, a renewal form isn't sent in the post anymore. So the funds go directly into an easy access account gaining little interest. Now they send out the useless mocking "could do better" letter but without a form to fill in to get a fixed savings account. Highly annoying

Don't think Power of Attorney will get your relative a fixed savings account even with telephone banking. They are deliberately delaying things and it takes two weeks to apply for Internet Banking as the second stage even with a choice of mobile number or card reader, they send out an unwanted card reader which takes days to arrive. They are quite happy for my relative not to get any interest at all and are overly suspicious of everything leading to no positive results. Disgusting.

A disc of a rare dvd boxset was defective. The playing side of the disc was partially brown. I photographed it as proof. The matter was dealt with. I was given a choice of choosing a replacement item to the same value or a full refund. I am happy with the outcome. This company do care about their customers and everything else I've purchased from them has been fine

Have used Bittacy Cars for 15 years with good and bad service. However was disappointed with my last short trip as I was overcharged. The five minute journey from supermarket should have been £6 before a tip as stated on my text message but the driver Mr Said asked for £8 so he ended up with a £4 tip! I sent an email to have this mistake rectified but never heard back

Tip for consumers:
If driver asks for a different fare to what you've been told, show him the text. If that doesn't help, don't tip as he's likely to have included the tip already

This company send out an enabler (can't say carer) for my mother for 15 to 20 minutes every morning. They've done lots of stupid things in the past, could write a book! I'm astounded by their lack of common sense though some of it is down to my mother not understanding them and vice versa. Can't leave a key in the safe anymore due to them making it known we have one so attempted break ins. I don't let them empty the commode as they spill the wee over the floor and they regularly don't do up mum's bra properly. Also they can forget to close the front door which is dangerous for when I'm not in. They sit and wait quite a bit of the time and play with their phones. Mum pays a lot of money for this service. I stay upstairs now as I can't bear to see them. One or two have been rude to me in the past. For the second time mum's usual one has taken the key away with her which is disgraceful and concerning as mum always asks her at the end if she has left the key in the usual place. During the pandemic they have not always been reliable to wear a mask correctly ie the neck trend and one leaves her worn gloves on the ornaments instead of putting in the dustbin. I have to move furniture and items otherwise they will be knocked over. Occasionally they turn up an hour late so mum has to phone to find out what's happened. I wish she would get another company.

Company is based in Thornton Heath, Croydon. Got charged £150 to put a few mouse traps out, persuaded to have all nooks and crannies sealed up for £600 which would take half a day. Instead it took up to half an hour for 2 men to spray white looking paint into some areas, they even sprayed my trousers! Realise got scammed.
