Posts scam scare messages on other company's contact pages to generate fake traffic:

What's likely going on is they (or someone they hired) is trying to generate traffic to their website to game the google algorithm into thinking their site is more popular than it really is by tricking businesses into thinking some left a negative review. So this is karma. You trick people with fake reports of negative reviews, you earn a real one.
