ReSound Smart 3D To Control Hearing Aids (HAs) Recommended By VA Audiologist

I was pointed to the iPhone App, Resound Smart 3D. Downloaded it and my HAs were labeled incompatible. Was redirected to another App, downloaded it and it worked. Initial setup is easy. Also, it allowed me to update the firmware in my HAs.

The only difficulty is that you have to be extremely careful when selecting options. One of them will change your settings to DEMO mode. There is supposedly a way to switch back to normal. I couldn't find it so deleted the app, reloaded it, and all is fine.

When you answer a call on your iPhone, choices presented include Hearing Aids. I'm still shifting between Speaker & HAs when I initially answer a call. Need to compare.
On iPhone, if you like to watch videos, movies, listen to music, or news videos, you're in for a surprise. Those will be connected and automatically transmit audio to your HAs. When sitting in room with family or friends, you get to enjoy the iPhone and not disturb others. Options are in Settings > Accessibility...

I could probably synch my TV audio to the HAs, but the TV would be silenced. Newer TVs may have fixed that problem. I still have lots to learn, but at no cost, this is a great value.
