I bought a new Velocity Micro computer in December, which was shipped 5 weeks later in January. It arrived with the USB ports not working, the back cover a bit crooked, and the optical not working. VM's solution was for me to send my machine back to be repaired which would take 8 days transit each way, and 3 weeks repair time. After already paying 2500$ for it in December, I wanted a replacement machine. I couldn't afford to be without a computer at that point. Also I purchased a NEW computer not a damaged/rebuilt one. They refused to ship a new machine, even after I said to hold my credit card, then made all sorts of excuses. I suggested that they make a UOPS claim and they didn't want to do that for some reason. The original packing was in perfect shape, so this machine left the shop damaged. The agreed to a refund and held the credit for a week after receiving the machine. This cost me more CC interest and grief. Tech help was very nice, customer service was useless. I got action by posting to the president's LinkedIn page, which is not how it should be. VM you lost a customer and any recommendation that I might have given.
