Love how holidaycars sent me confirmation for a certain type of car yet sent to the car company a request for a totally different car.
The car I got is old and gutless, so much for late model. It was not the Honda Civic I was invoiced for, they sent s request to sixt for a Toyota Altis and I received a 7 year old petrol guzzling 1600cc heap of garbage.
Wont be using this company again, would rather spent a little extra and use carflexi.com.
The response from holidaycars.com has been arrogance, blame the customer because somewhere in their t&c s they have that they only are required to give you the same amount of doors, air conditioning, petrol or diesel, and same number of seats and possibly 4 tyres, not what you book.

We prefer to provide you with the car model of your dreams, but that's unfortunately not possible since we only get a confirmation for the car class or category you requested. Our apologize this was not clear.
As you could see in your online reservation you requested an Intermediate category car: Toyota Carolla Sedan or similar.
As you could see, the rental car you may be provided is not a guarantee. A similar car within the same category of the supplier will be provided to you.
We have investigated your case and concluded the rental car you've got provided has been from the category / class you selected. If it turns out you prefer to have an higher class than you requested, you may check with the supplier if an upgrade is available. When a rental car offered to you is not in a good condition, you may ask the supplier for a different car from the same class which is in a better condition.
