Sorry, but GFS Guitars are horrible! I received the SL 55 a while back. After replacing the nut, and having $$$$ spent on fret work, this guitar is still unplayable! The neck is twisted and the frets are super high... not to mention sharp ends and uneven tops. GFS always says, "compare these to..." enter a guitar brand. These aren't even on par with an Affinity Stratocaster. Please don't waste your money. I've tried three different models... they're all terrible!
Tip for consumers:
The pickups and accessories they sell are top notch, but the failed horribly in their quest to manufacture a decent guitar!!
