Over the last 13 years I have had very few issues with Jeffers. And when I have had issues it was always quickly addressed. Jeffers would have had a higher rating if it wasnt for my recent customer service issue. On 4/29 I placed an order-- and was shown on the web page that the shipping could take up until November, but that I wouldn't be charged until my items shipped. Well, I really needed the vaccines I ordered so I figured I could wait.
On May 15th I checked my paypal account, and noticed that Jeffers charged me. So I went to my Jeffers account and saw that my order was still being processed but hadn't been shipped yet, the delivery date had been set to 5/11-- But I never received a package, or an email notifying me of my product having been shipped. I disputed the charge, and by June 1st Jeffers came up with a UPS tracking number--I contacted UPS, but they would not give me (the recipient) any details about the order--they would only talk to the sender--Jeffers.
Jeffers will no longer return correspondence about the order, or help figure out what went wrong and WHY I was #1) Never notified of a pending shipment in the first place-- and 2) Why I was charged for items purchased but never received.
Jeffers just stole $142 from me-- and it isnt the first time that this company has done this to their customers. Another farm I was notified had a $1200 order get 'lost' in their system as well.
I have NEVER had issues with shipping, being notified of shipping, or being mis-charged by any other retailer other than Jeffers. From now on I will only conduct business with ValleyVet or PBS Animal Health. At least these 2 companies are on the ball with customer communications and responding to client concerns in a timely manner! And dont steal money!
