Ordered 4 items from Garnet Hill. They charged my credit card immediately for the whole order. When I didn't receive the items I went online to check status. Next to each item was single word: "backordered", No other info on when items were expected back in stock or when I might expect delivery.
Ticked they never notified me, and that they charged my card when items aren't even in stock.
UPDATE: I spoke with Garnett Hill rep who said they had the items in stock, and they were being processed. The "backordered" status was incorrect. I received items in timely manner and had to return several. They notified me when they received the returned items, and credited my credit card.
Seems like they have greatly improved their customer service, and are much more timely in delivering orders and processing returns.
