Ordered 4 items from Garnet Hill. They charged my credit card immediately for the whole order. When I didn't receive the items I went online to check status. Next to each item was single word: "backordered", No other info on when items were expected back in stock or when I might expect delivery.
Ticked they never notified me, and that they charged my card when items aren't even in stock.
UPDATE: I spoke with Garnett Hill rep who said they had the items in stock, and they were being processed. The "backordered" status was incorrect. I received items in timely manner and had to return several. They notified me when they received the returned items, and credited my credit card.
Seems like they have greatly improved their customer service, and are much more timely in delivering orders and processing returns.

Great customer service when returning a set of sheets. Sheets were good quality, but pillowcases for queen set were standard size, too small for my queen size pillows. They accepted return, paid for shipping and promptly credited my credit card. And they communicated with me to provide status of return. Would not hesitate to purchase from them again

I get that COVID has slowed deliveries down, but company should inform customer of delays. Item I ordered was never delivered.
Received email stating gift basket had been delivered on the promised date but I checked with recipient and they had NOT recieved it. Checked tracking details on website and it said package was still in another city. No estimated delivery date was given.
I then contacted GourmetGiftBasketStore rep who said it was out of their hands and problem was between delivery co and me! I explained I purchased item from them, not the delivery company, and they should ensure its safe delivery. After some back and forth she said she would check and get back to me with delivery date. I never heard from her again.
The recipient then called the delivery company (CanPar) and after being on hold for 2 hours still did not reach anyone.
So weeks after the item was supposed to be delivered the recipient drove 55 miles (one way) to CanPar facility in city named on tracking site and was able to pick up the package herself. Not the way I wanted a gift to arrive -- with recipient having to travel to pick it up!
I notified GourmetGiftBasketStore and have not heard from them.
I understand delivery delays, what I don't understand is GourmetGiftBasketStore refusing to keep me informed of delivery status and taking no responsibility for item being delivered at all.

I have not had to contact customer service, which seems to be reason for most of the negative reviews. I have couple of items that I only purchase from Uniqlo, including jeans and camisoles, that fit well, are good quality and very reasonably priced. Deliveries take a little longer to arrive than purchases from some other sites, but have never had problem with not receiving delivery or receiving wrong item.

This site primarily carries shoes, handbags, and accessories for weddings. Most items ordered are very time sensitive. I ordered a purse for use at a wedding which was supposed to be delivered in 5 - 10 business days. I kept checking and the site showed order was "confirmed" but not yet "in transit". It's been over 2 weeks and item STILL has not even shipped. Contacted Nina and they totally washed their hands of it. Told me I should contact FedEx. Nina Shoes are ones with contract with FedEx, they are ones who made commitment to me to deliver the item, it is NOT the responsibility of the customer to chase down the 3rd party carrier. Item will not arrive in time. Had to order from another site, which delivered it within 3 days.
