Before ordering, I had asked them to ask the seller whether the item was still available. It was. When ordering, the first problem was that Taobaoring's system would not accept the original Taobao link, so I copied it into the message field and sent off my order. Then I got the message "Order will be updated you soon after confirming with seller." When I had no update from them for ten days, I asked about the state of affairs. The reply I got was the item was sold out since I had not paid!

Regarding their answer, I had not got any "1st payment invoice". Not in my spam folder either. Otherwise I would have paid immediately. The fault was clearly theirs, not mine.

1. We got your order on 29th November, about Chinese time - 19:00. Since it is too late, so, we confirm your order on 30th November.
2. On 30th November, we replied your message, thanks for your link again, and we will update order after confirming with seller. Then, about 19:00 - Chinese Time, we updated order, mail you 1st payment invoice that day. And we replied your notes: as seller replied, the item is right. It means that we confirmed and updated your order only spent 1 day.
3. We got your mail yesterday, but when we check the item again yesterday, the item has out of stock already since it haven't order in time.
Please check and consider whole process?

I needed the upper part for a telescopic folding bike handlestem. SENQI cycling store sells both parts, so I asked them if I could only buy the upper part with a diameter of 25.4 mm. Will Fu answered that I could have it for $15. Somehow he could not change the price of the complete (upper and lower parts) handlestem, so he told me to order another item, in this case a handlebar that happend to cost $14.97, and he would then send me the desired part of the handlestem. I placed my order and paid. Now Will Fu said he did not have the item after all. I was at a loss of words and wanted to cancel the order. I gave "Seller did not have the item in stock" as the reason. Will Fu refused to cancel the order twice because he wanted me to give "Other reasons" and thus mislead other buyers. I refused, so he threatened to send me the handlebar, and it seems he did. I will open a dispute a. S.a. P., refuse to accept the parcel and file a claim with my credit card company.
I must say that this was the worst shop in China EVER. Blacklist them and buy elsewhere!

I have bought several times through Yoybuy. Unfortunately, my experience has not been very good. It all starts out when a Taobao seller says he has a stock of, say, 99. When I want to buy one or two, Yoybuy tells me the seller is out of stock. I have suggested blacklisting this kind of crooked seller, but Yoybuy refuses to do so.

Secondly, in most cases I do not know the Chinese inland postage. I have had at least one case where it reached almost 50% of the price.

Thirdly and most annoyingly, when all items have arrived at Yoybuy's warehouse and I submit delivery, Yoybuy's system makes an estimate of shipping costs. They will not pack up, weigh and calculate the true shipping costs until I have paid the estimate, leading either (rarely) to a reimbursement or (in most cases) to a heavy second postage. The financial risk cannot be calculated. This is all the more burdensome as it could easily be changed. I have told them a dozen times, but they seem unwilling or unable.

Worse yet, Yoybuy has sent me the wrong items that cost me $25 and even after five e-mails wants to give me just $10 to make up for it. Not even in money, but in their ridiculous points!

Just when I thought it could not get any worse, they came up with a new trick: When I had asked if the item was still in stock, I got a positive reply, so I odered and paid. Guess what happened? "Item out of stock.":-o Not just once, but they pulled off this trick a second time! I think they do not even ask the sellers, but always claim they have stock.

Seriously, I have no idea why some other reviewers use words like "best", "honest" or "great" in connection with Youbuy. They must be Yoybuy employees.

My conclusion is: Buy from AliExpress.com whenever possible. Otherwise use Taobaoring.com when there is no other option.
