Simply DO NOT use wkraineapartments.com. Run away. After they take your deposit you will have no service and may not get an apartment anything like the one you wanted.
The apartments were not as promised. The apartment we booked (and paid a $80 deposit on) was suddenly was no longer available. They only told us this just before our travels, so we didn't have time to make other arrangements. Plus, they had our deposit. They were not able to find us any decent replacements. The apartment they put us in was extremely dirty, had no utensils, one pot and the clothes washing machine was broken.
The woman who met us said we could wash our clothes in the sink! We were promised air conditioning, of course there wasn't any. The windows only opened on one side to the courtyard so there was no ventilation. Every night the drunks in the courtyard would fight and yell all through the night. We did not get any sleep.
The service from the company was a disaster. I got calls from one person saying one thing, emails from another saying something else and the landlords of the apartment demanded another. One person told us that the landlord was picking us up and to call her. When we called she was extremely rude and hung up. When we got to the apartment the landlord had sent someone else. She said "I don't know anything about this apartment. We just rent it and rent it out to others." Instead of the agency taking care of problems I had to work directly with the landlord. She was nasty and unpleasant. We had to stay at the apartment several days and wait for her to show up.
They showed us an email that our deposit was returned, but PayPal has no record of this transaction. They also will charge you all the fees they are charged for any PayPal transaction even though your transfer is free. This will not be on the invoice. It will be a surprise.
I had reserved these apartments (one in Kharkiv and one in Lviv) over a month before our arrival.
These hassles and the stress of working with this company really bit into our vacation enjoyment. My husband had to spend half a day fixing the washing machine!
Even when they knew about all these problems, the firm did nothing to compensate for their mistakes.
The emails from someone called Ludmilla were particularly rude and nasty. They have no idea what customer service is.
This is a take your money and run organization. Find a better firm ASAP.
