I'm a professional advertising human. I believe in it. That being said, I also believe Duluth Trading Company generates good quality merchandise at justifiably elevated prices because it is simply superior stuff in most cases. I am all for fun-blunt radio, TV and jingle productions.So I'm a fan; to a degree. Their productions are memorable and don't stink.
What damages my appreciation is DTC's relentless marketing after the sale. Daily emails are superfluous at best. Here's why I just opted to UNSUBSCRIBE. DTC brought it on by apparently developing a strategy the includes daily assaults as though I am some addled brained dementia shopper who forgets what I need. So they feel I now must shop DTC EVERY SINGLE DAY I SURVIVE my lack of self-awareness.
Do the employees there in Minnesota have similar trouble with their needs?
Like, they wake up thinking: "I must secure another product today or my life is wasted?"
Evidently you believe the Duluthers are like a homeless person who got a morsel from us then just opted to move into my garage. To Duluth ruthless marketing department:

This is the first rocker I've heard that mentions my home state (Iowa) in the lyric. This surprising track is super positive with pounding straight ahead rock energy. The vocal takes us through a relationship that doesn't totally Crash and Burn. He loves her and makes sincere promises. I'm so sick of the 'my-baby-crapped-on-me' type of track. Musically refreshing, the track breaks down to half time sequence to emphasize the singer's sincerity. Then kicks butt again. This an inviting track that urges; "Yes, listen. It will be worth it."

I've been Number one in a couple of categories for a couple of years. What does that tell you? Ever heard of me? Terry Loder. But when they have the mysterious looking girls say things like I listen to ----------- every day, when are you going to make a video or I just discovered your other song and now I can't get enough of it, I cringe. Just ask them what part of the song is their favorite or if they would like to buy a Tee shirt or anything connected to their "favorite" song and you'll get nothing. It's a well conceived con. I love to watch stings and cons on TV. So, I chuckle and send responses just to make someone at the other end in Moscow or say "uh oh. Another one figured out the con. I've never had a single follow up from a fan, including an answer to my response when they send their "message" nor has anyone ever purchased music when they ask where to go. Come on. If you send Number One Music a nickel, you will never get that much back from them. Anybody out there ever get a real reward for your songs?
Final Note: When you stop your activity, watch how they send you email suggestions with increasing frequency. (Like every day)
