This is one of the best sites for finding coupons for your favorite retailers online. Whether signing up for their regular email posts, or using their search engine to find coupons before you go to the store, this one ranks as one of my favorites.

S&B reports years ago used to be a legitimate business but is no longer so. I ordered a subscription several months ago, which promised weekly emails about sample sales in New York City, as well as access to their website. They took my money, and emailed me a passcode, but the passcode never worked and the emails were never sent. When searching on Google, talking to Amex about removing the charge, etc, I was given contact numbers for the company that no longer work (new york number has new company, number above is disconnected). I sent numerous emails to them (to addresses listed on my reciept, as well as the one listed on their website), to no response.

The thing that upsets me the most, is that someone out there continues to update their website weekly with free information about a few Sample Sales that week. Also, if you try to order a subscription today, the website seems ready to take your money, despite the fact that this appears to be a defunct company. Don't be fooled by this, they no longer exist, or perhaps its just one guy posting a few tidbits of info from his/her boat in Boca. Anyway, this sample sale information is now widely available elsewhere like on Daily Candy, Time Out, or Clothingline.com. So its no surprise that they are hanging by a thread, if not dead. Sorry Elysa Lazar if you're really dead. I mean no disrepect, in fact the reason i tried so hard to contact your company is because i heard it was great and really wanted the subscribtion

I ordered a Jawa costume with light up eyes for my 7 year old for Halloween. The costume came in the mail with no documentation and no email confirmation. When it arrived my son was thrilled, tryed it on, but thought the eyes did not work because they needed batteries installed. On the morning of Halloween, he asked me to put in batteries, but alas the batteries were included, were not replaceable, AND NEVER WORKED. I had a hard time remembering where I ordered it from because they never sent me any documentation, which should have arose my suspicion about this website. Anyway, when my Amex bill finally came, I called them, and they said they would only take returns on defects within 48 hours, even though I said I would be happy with the same, but working costume re-sent. They said it was out of stock, so I said I would take, something similar, even though Halloween is over and similar costumes on their website are listed for $9. Again they told me no. They finally offered me "10pct of my purchase, which i think they meant the original purchase, but more likely my next purchase." I WOULD NEVER ORDER FROM THIS SITE AGAIN AS I BELIEVE THEY KNOWINGLY SENT MY MERCHANDISE THEY KNEW OR SHOULD HAVE KNOWN WAS NOT WORKING. My poor seven year old was in tears. I called Amex and the charge is now under dispute. But buyers beware, this is not a legitimate website. And their customer service is the worst.
