I use this website to make "book covers" for my poems and or fanfics but one thing that plagues to me to absolutely no end is how buggy the site is. Really, this website seems to randomly stop working and then I have to refresh the page constantly to get it back up. I'm sick of it.

The only thing going for it is the fact that it's relatively free to use and that's about it. If not for that, I'd have stopped using it.

And, no, the admins haven't bothered at all to fix it.

Let me tell y'all something, I really loved this site but it disappeared back in 2019.

It the quickest and better url to mp converters out there, even converting blocked or region locked urls.

I really loved this site.

Well, I have one and, suffice to say, it could be better.

It has no algorithm, which is rather nice as I don't have to deal with BS in my face when I don't want in my face.

However, this is a platform where you'd have to out of your way to promote it, as you won't get any followers otherwise.

Don't get me wrong, I love the site and what it does but some things needs a LOT of work.

1) 10%, 15%, 20%, or anything in that range is NOT discount. Adding insult to injury, a lot of their resales come off as WAY~ higher than the initial prices.

2)They've been sending their mailed in boxes, which is rather wasteful, especially when it's just one item and said item not being particularly big. It'd be nice if they could use more efficient and eco-friendly mailers.

I love them, of course, but they should work on these things.

In looking for an IFTTT alternative, I can across this one (it's one of the few alternatives that're free) and, well, it's hard to use. It has quite a few features and the site overloads my system.

I wanted so much to make it work.

I use Amazon on a semi-regular and I have a few things to say.

Their customer service needs a major overhaul and that chat feature is useless as holy hell. More headache than what it's worth to use that.

Ratings without reviews isn't helpful at all. It comes off as fraudulent. Also, WTF are "global reviews"?

Amazon needs to be more transparent about 3rd party sellers. That is all.

While I do appreciate getting my groceries, I damn sure don't appreciate having a tip just randomly tacked on when I go to check out. Bezos ain't hurting for money and I can only afford my groceries. On that subject, I don't much appreciate having to order an entire SNAP card's worth of food for free shipping. It used to be be free shipping if you ordered with prime, what the hell.

I joined back in 2017 and, suffice enough to say, it's changed a lot, which wasn't for the better.

One, we could have lived without reels but they're trying to catch up to Tiktok, which is a stupid idea

Two, because of their focus on reels, they seem to mostly want you to post videos and will auto generate one, shoving it in your face.

Three, tying into the aforementioned, because of this focus on reels, hashtags don't seem to work as much. Now, the hashtags only show top posts, so if you're an artist, you might be better off posting elsewhere.

Four, the app and the website have gotten to be very hard to use. It's buggy as hell.

Five, this really did it for me. The ability to directly share to Tumblr has been removed. Tumblr shows it as an authorized website but Instagram doesn't and there's no real way to add it back. This is horrible.

Tip for consumers:
If you're an artist, find another site.

I was suggested this website because 1) it's free and 2), Meta did something with their APIs and so I couldn't share directly from IG to Tumblr anymore. However, I probably should have searched harder for something else, as, really, all this site seems to do is crap out on at the worse times and, much of the time, the damn applets don't seem to work, with them randomly disconnecting or just not even posting the content I'd like, instead outright skipping posts.

I'm $#*!ing sick of it.

To be honest, I like the website and I do go back to post from time to time, however, I do think it could use some updating, that is, it could use some text formatting that isn't BBC code and they could allow covers to be for poems, too.

Well, I started out using this site back in 2013 and, well, there's a reason WHY I don't visit the site as much. The only reason this review comes with 2 star rating is because of nostalgia.

IDK who need to hear this but it would be much appreciated if they stop trying to force users to interact with one another. People come on the website to post their poems and, possibly, get some interaction, however, forcing it is NOT a way to go. Worse still is that they force you interact to be able to post more poems. And that's not getting into how much a premium membership is ($180 per year).

Also, I don't appreciate getting emailed naggy "reminders" to use the site. There's a reason why I'm scarce on this site.

Really, there are far better websites for one to post poetry.

Tip for consumers:
If you want to post poetry, my suggestion is that you make a blog or try Fictionpress, Booksie, maybe, but, really, don't give this site a try. It isn't worth it.

Well, I got my order fulfilled but it was only for one of the items; the other item (a dandelion crystal ball) was actually canceled and never sent, despite the website indicating that it's still in stock. I've contacted them about it but got no reply about why this is.

They say they're a small family run business but, while this is true, it's not an excuse for poor customer service or what can be presumed to be false advertising.

I remember this being a bjd shop but how all the links redirect to some overpriced clothing shop. What on earth happened?

  • Witcherycostumehouse

Apparently, you won't get your packages from them and the website looks iffy. It would seem that they aren't good for communication on anything to do with items.

In short, if you're looking for doll clothes, don't use this site.

Well, a lot of the petitions are closed and, honestly, it's more of a joke site that likes to take money and go.

Basically, try to refrain.

Oh, she's wonderful. My first rat that I got from her was Embrasse (who's my profile pic) and I was just enthralled with how wonder she's made her. Her customer service is also phenomenal and quite adorable.

Sadly, it seems that her site is currently disconnected but it's because she's in the process of moving. She'll be back at some point.

Tip for consumers:
She doesn't do bulk orders, thus, while it's tempting, it's best to order about two at the most.

She's since updated her domain:

The website doesn't seem to be working. Actually, according to Wayback Machine, it doesn't seem to have been updated since about late 2018. It gets one star because it's practically nonexistent.

  • YouTube

I first joined YouTube in about 2009 and I have to say that it's not the same landscape as it was.

For one, there was the Google+ merger, which wasn't appreciated, at all.

Two, there was that Adpacalypse and the resulting rule changes didn't help. A lot of my favorite and very good YouTubers lost a good portion of their income. Sadly, them trying to go "family friendly" isn't working out.

Three, there has been some inherent biases towards bigger channels. Recently, a lot of people have lost their entire Google accounts after participating in livestream by Markiplier but, despite acknowledging that he broke the rules, Logan Paul was allowed to keep his channel. That's not even getting into the spam account or the animal/child abuse content problem (it took a PETITION to get ONE channel with such content removed).

You see, when I first joined the site, it was a fun and more relaxed place but, now, it's gone downhill and it's still going downhill. I wish we had some parts of old YouTube back, instead of an advertising platform that stifles its users.

Tip for consumers:
Stay off their radar as much as you can and try not to make it your sole income.

  • Nin Nin Game

So far, I've only shopped on the site once and, unfortunately, it didn't go so well, as the item that I tried to buy was out of stock, despite the site saying otherwise. Apparently, that's a common occurrence.

Their customer service is pretty much okay and it is a legit site but the way the site is operated could use some work.

I've never shopped on this site but I did check it out.

Sure enough, as I can tell you, the site is a fraudulent store with an adorable look and that's all it is.

Firstly, sells bootlegged anime/game figures for way much more than they're actually worth.

Secondly, the owners of this site steals images of various artists on Etsy and uses them to advertise the products on their site.

There isn't much more to say but, however, if you value your time and money, don't use this site, you'll be ripped off.

Tip for consumers:
Odds are, since the shipping is from China, you most likely won't get your item and, despite its money back gaurantee, I doubt that they'd follow through.

Avoid this site like the Plague.

Look, when I first joined the site, it was a pretty good site and the people (other users) there are quite so nice, however, their business model could use some work and that's real.

Look, I get that the site needs money but what I don't appreciate is being limited to ONE photo upload per 12 hours. They've been pushing that premium membership noise for as long as I've been on it but they've gone too far with that crap. It's a photography site, not a shop and, really, who buys photos? Adding onto that, that premium membership is expensive as holy hell.

I love my photos getting attention but I do photography for fun, not as a job. I wish the admins would take that idea into consideration.
