I was T-boned by a car that had GEICO insurance. We all agreed the accident was 0% (zero percent) my fault. Zero. I was stopped for a light. The woman's car came screeching out of her driveway and plowed into mine: Crash. Due to the massive damage, my car was getting body work done for six weeks. I had a rental car for six weeks. Geico refused to pay for the last two weeks of the rental. My car was in the SHOP. There was no suggestion I was using it or that it was usable and I was just lax in picking it up. They owe me $400. I kept contacting them and sent them documentation and they kept lying or avoiding me. They keep sending me offers to get Geico. Yeah. Right. Not gonna happen. Terrible company.

Tip for consumers:
They "saved" $400 by not paying me what I was legally owed but I doubt they passed that savings on to the driver that hit me. Their rates went up, no doubt, since they were 100% at fault. This dishonest company made money all the way around. Don't trust them.

Products used:
Insurance reimbursement due to their car hitting mine.

Gilt contacted me after I published this review. Since they didn't have a time machine that would get me back the hours -- yes, hours -- of my life I spent trying to resolve the issues they caused then I don't know what their purpose was in contacted me. Why would they think I'd want to do business with them again? I came to this site and posted a review to warn everybody I could NOT to do business with them.

It's easier to just post the complaiint I filed re: Gilt:

"In the past two months, GILT has sent me products I didnt order four times. Ive repeatedly had to contact them to make them aware of their mistakes. Theyve relied on me using my own time and materials to prepare and return the packages and Im tired of essentially working for them when they make a mistake.

Im enclosing emails from Gilt in which they acknowledge the three previous packages were sent without my knowledge or agreement. Im enclosing the final email I sent them saying the boxes were picked up; an email which they never even bothered to replying to...

I didnt authorize this charge of $57.98. Im attaching three emails from March 24,2015 -- two in which I cancel the order and one from GILT confirming the cancellation and stating that and I wont be charged. Im also enclosing a bank statement showing I was charged on 3/27/2015."

When I contacted GILT about this, they denied that I'd cancelled the charge and were very obnoxious about it. Nevertheless, I have an email from a GILT employee, XXXXXX XXXXXXXX, dated March 24,2015 at 4:15 pm stating she cancelled the order and I wouldn't be charged. I also have bank records showing I was charged on March 27,2015 for the $57 by GILT.

They're a disorganized company with very rude employees and I haven't yet had a conversation with them where the phone lines worked. They didn't even know they'd sent me the three pans and I had to convince them. They didn't thank me for taking my time or using my materials to return them. Then they sent me another pan. I'm really tired of this company.

You get a "free" trial then they charge you $79 for a year's membership. But guess what? There's no way to cancel your membership. Honest to God. I looked everyplace. Clicked every link. It's not under the Accout function or any logical place you can cancel with a reputable business. Finally, I emailed them directly asking how to cancel. They wrote back and said "We've cancelled your account. Thanks for being a valuable customer" blah blah. I wrote back and asked for exact instructions on the site of how to cancel an account. They sent me a link that didn't work. I sent that back to them and said "This didn't work. I need instructions on cancelling my account." Once again I got an email saying "We've cancelled your account. Thanks for being a valued customer" blah blah. -- After seeing some of the complaints here about false charges, I checked my credit card and there they were -- one $10 charge I didnt recognize and they didn't credit me an amount they should have. I thought this would be a more convenient place to shop but honestly I don't want to spend my time monitoring my credit cards to make sure I'm charged accurately.

Former seller here. I sold 20 items under $100 over two years. Where do I start? 1.) They have the WORST search engine anyplace. Check it out. If you enter "Blue Dior Earrings" you will get everything for all those words. Blue. Plus Dior. Plus earrings. Thousands of things. Plus they'll add more because you might want "red Chanel earrings" or whatever. This isn't horrible until you realize that anybody searching for what you're trying to sell can't find it either. 2.) I repeatedly had my store frozen and unavailable during prime sales periods -- they told me it was a software glitch but it tended to happen only on holidays so that was weird. This benefitted the larger sellers, of course. 3.) With very little notice -- like one email? -- they doubled their fees just before Christmas; 4.) After waiting a month for a cash reimbursement, they didn't include one of the sales I'd made. 5.) After not including the sale, they charged me TWO reimbursment fees instead of one (I'm still waiting to hear back from them on this. Hmmmm. Wonder if they'll send the email today.); 6.) Charged me $10 for a USPS mailing label. When I mailed it myself using my own money they said they couldn't refund me for the USPS label. The USPS doesn't charge for unused labels. There's no reason Tradesy can't refund this money. --- Anyway, this is a very sleazy company and they treat their sellers badly. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
