Discovering new fashion and beauty brands

I used the mini magnetic palette and I loved how I could customise my makeup palette for my needs.
It's super convenient to travel with, and I can easily add and remove eyeshadow colours depending on what I want.
It's easy to find single eyeshadows to add to the palette, and I find this much more useful than buying a palette from which I only use 1 or 2 colours.
I got this from Beauty Bay a while ago so it was easy to access in the UK at the time.

This is a brand that I discovered through YouTube - it definitely seems to be popular amongst beauty bloggers. I tried the dewy skin cream and it left my skin feeling amazing. It pretty pricey at around $60/70 but the quality makes up for it. I love the packaging, too.

The website is super easy to navigate, however I have only purchased through Mecca. It would be great to have this stocked at more online retailers for easier access.

This is a great website for discovering beauty products at bargain prices. I shop for skincare products on here and I'm never disappointed. Shipping is fast.
However, I don't love the website interface, I think it could do with some updating - it's easy to navigate but isn't as sleek as other beauty retailers.

I used the Bondi Sands dark tanning foam and had a great experience with it.
It's easily accessible in the UK, where it is stocked on various sites such as feelunique and even boohoo. It arrived within a couple of days.
It has a really nice, natural looking olive tone instead of the usual orange-toned base colour that most fake tans have. It lasted well but came off easily with exfoliating too.
At around £11 for a 200ml bottle, it is at good price point compared to other Tan brands on the market.

I purchased a Skims bodysuit from Selfridges for the first time. Overall thoughts:
- great quality
- fairly pricey
- very minimal style
- easy to get in UK

I use the Pixi Glow Mist which is such a great addition to my makeup routine. It's great on no makeup days when I want my skin to look fresh and radiant, but it's also great on day where I wear a full face of makeup as it settles on the skin beautifully and blurs my makeup to make it look less cakey. It's fairly expensive for a spray at £16 but it has lasted me a while.

I purchased the Huda Beauty cream contour and I really love it. It's perfect for nose contour, a great shade that's not too warm nor cool. It's not too expensive but also not the cheapest on the market at £26. However, the pot will last me a long time so I don't need to repurchase very often.
I like that it's available on all major beauty websites so it's easy to purchase and get it delivered to your house.

I recently bought a Hoover Cylinder vacuum cleaner for my new house and it is the best vacuum I've ever purchased. It was pretty affordable at £75 so I wasn't expecting much, but the suction is great, its easily manoeuvrable and easy to empty.

I recently purchased a Huawei mobile Wifi dongle and it has been great whilst we wait for our WIFI to be set up. It's super small and compact so it doesn't take up much space, it's easily hidden and easy to move around the house if needed. I just wish it had a longer USB cord!

I recently bought a pair of 'Saskia' sunglasses from TIJN.
My overall thoughts:
- Good variety of products
- OK quality
- Slow delivery

Found this boutique whilst living in Australia and I am in love with their dresses.
They look high end without the big price tag. Very affordable brand that looks chic.
They ship worldwide and the website is easy to navigate.
I do wish they carried size 4 or smaller sizes.
Would definitely recommend this brand!

I often buy Neewer products for my YouTube channel e.g. ring light
They are a very affordable brand that allow small content creators to step up the quality of their content without breaking the bank.
Very easy to purchase through Amazon.
The products are good quality - what you'd expect for the price. I do wish the stands that the lights / backdrops came with were more sturdy.

I discovered this brand when I moved to Australia and I have used them for 2 products:
- sunglasses
- blue light glasses

The blue light glasses come in loads of cute frames and designs and the prices seemed to range from $25-50 with sales. They have really helped me with my headaches and sore eyes when working on screens all day.
The sunglasses are really trendy and they have a great variety of styles. They feel great quality.
Would recommend this brand.

A great fake tan that I use to top up my natural tan during the winter.
It's a very natural shade as it has olive/green undertones which replicates my skin colour instead of going the more orange route.
It does start to go slightly patchy after a few days, quicker than other brands I have tried.
It has a nice smell when you first apply it, however the smell develops into a more traditional 'fake tan smell' as it develops. It also has stained my sheets when I've slept with it on - something other brands have managed to master.
Good price - around $18 AUD per bottle which is around the standard price.
Overall, I would recommend it for a gorgeous glow.

- super easy to use
- great layout
- great way for people to find your listings
- they take a 10% fee from your total transaction

I love how affordable Morphe is- especially their eyeshadow pallets! They offer many dupes for expensive products, even their own beauty sponges. I love how you can purchase their products through their website and through other beauty retailers such as Beauty Bay (which makes it easier for customers outside the US).

Lush products definitely are 'lush'. They are very fun to buy as gifts or even to treat yourself. They have such a huge range of soaps, scents, shampoos.
I did however find the tin shampoo fairly drying to my hair but I'd be happy to try out a different one.
The brand is eco-friendly and environmentally conscious which is great! It's a great place to shop if you're looking to cut down on plastic packaging.

Here's a summary of my thoughts about Miss Lola:

- Trendy shoes and accessories
- Lots of variety
- Items are often sold out
- Fast shipping
- Easy returns

I purchased a loose setting powder from JSC and I wasn't too impressed. It left my skin looking cakey and had a very sickly sweet smell. The lipsticks are good and there are lots of shades to choose from. You can find the products on many beauty sites such as Beauty Bay however I don't think I would recommend this brand over other similar alternatives.

I would always feel so professional using MAC products, the foundations are particularly great and they offer a great range of shades. They are super easy to get a hold of in department stores and online. However, I'm having to stop using them as they are not cruelty free - it's something that should be of utmost importance to a brand in this day and age and I no longer feel that MAC shares the same ethical and moral values as many other beauty brands.
