This website is set up to deceive used car buyers into wiring money to an overseas bank account.

This website is an exact copy of the FAKE SHIPPING COMPANY that conned me. The website I am reviewing has recently been taken down as they have moved their activity to RUSSELLSHIPPINGSERVICES.COM and there may already be other fake websites as well. I am currently engaged in an investigation involving the FBI internet crimes complaint center IC3.GOV to prevent other Americans from becoming the victim of international wire fraud.

I was directed to this website by someone posing as a car seller that I connected with on www.YUPYI.com, both websites seemed to be legitimate although you will find no contact information on either website beyond a single email address. I fell for the shipping website believing it was too intricate and official looking to be a scam. One reason I am posting this review is because the website YUPYI.COM has not been taken down yet and I am certain that the scam starts there. They are continuing to target US car buyers with similar tactics and even the same email addresses.

The shipping company had me create an account with their website, they represented themselves as a "neutral third party" making all kinds of contracts and guarantees to protect my car purchase. I received 3 very official looking receipts that all looked legitimate with stamps and signatures, however none of them contained the vehicle identification number VIN nor was there a real bill of lading. HSBC was the bank that I wired money to, however I never received my car or my money back. I have no proof that EDWIN COLIN SMYTH or the 1969 AMC JAVELIN were ever real. The only thing I know is real is that someone really has my money and they have an HSBC account.

Beware buying a car without having someone you trust inspect it. Do not wire money to an overseas account without real proof of the car seller and the car being legitimate. www.WINDLESHIPPING.com displayed the UK business number and physical address of a real shipping company in London UK, however no phone number. The website also claimed they had a new warehouse in Seattle, however, they are not there nor are they registered to do business in the state of Washington.

I tracked the UK business number online to a Windle shipping company that was registered in the UK. I contacted the parent company, Vogt and Maguire Ltd, and I did not identify myself as a victim at that time. A member of the board of directors responded to my request for information. They stated that the website www.windleshipping.com was using their UK business number and address as impersonation and they were working to stop it in the UK. When I told them I was a victim that has filed with the FBI and would like to assist their investigators I received no response.

RUSSELLSHIPPINGSERVICES.COM is identical to the website that scammed me and they are utilizing the exact same tactics copying publicly available information about a registered company. RUSSELL SHIPPING SERVICES is claiming a fake address in Seattle Washington as well.

DO NOT WIRE MONEY TO ANYONE YOU HAVE CONTACTED THROUGH THIS SITE OR YUPYI.COM

The scammers use multiple email accounts and identities to make you think that there is an accountable third party involved. They can use the same email accounts and identities to sign up for websites like sitejabber and create false positive reviews and then upmark those reviews. The email accounts associated with the positive reviews on sitejabber for yupyi are more than likely the same email addresses involved in the international wire fraud scam. In this case Sitejabber.com could do much more to help prevent future fraud and enforce legal action against the parties abusing American consumers.

Tip for consumers:
Do not use this site for any reason.

Like others I got a response from a seller that was "on an oil rig", unfortunately I fell for the scam. The seller seemed to have knowledge that only a real aficionado would know and earned some of my trust, despite never providing me with a VIN or personal information. I made a contract with their shipping company but they never delivered my vehicle and have yet to refund my money. I have not gotten a response from the shipping company in 10 days. It is now apparent that I have been defrauded.
