Do not purchase a pup from this company. I purchased a pup, 6 months later we found that she has a genetically malformed femoral head. We now are battling this horrible company to get assistance with her medical costs and necessary surgery. Horrible experience, just horrible. They do not have you or your pups best interests at heart and are incredibly dishonest and sell unhealthy pups. I would give them zero stars if I could.

Breeder not required to do genetic screening for common health problems, Our puppy came with heart defect .

I had a good experience with all of the people involved in my process. They all made sure to answer any questions I had. When I went to pick up my new puppy I had no trouble doing so. It was an easy smooth process that I would recommend for anyone looking to add a new addition to the family! My pup was a little older and they made sure he had all his shots on time before I got him and he was pretty much potty trained!

I purchased two Australian Shepherds from Pawrade, the entire experience was wonderful from working with the sales staff, to the staff giving me information about how to prepare and then travel. My puppies came home within 3 days and they were wonderful to work with as well, I picked ground travel and it was a great company as well. Thank you for my puppy experience and my lovable dogs.

I purchased a pavilion puppy in November. I was told that I would be receiving a packet of information with the shot she had received so I could tell my vet what shots she had received.

I never received the information. I have called numerous times. I have e-mailed them. NO LUCK!

I was told one time when I called that they would email me the information but it never came.

I got a Cava-Tzu from Pawrade, he came via flight nanny and the experience from purchase to delivery was wonderful. My travel Rep Shannon G was wonderful and responded quickly with information about a very nerve-wracking purchase, it set my mind at ease! My puppy Cooper is the sweetest, most beautiful puppy I have ever owned. He is the greatest addition to our family. I will 100% purchase another puppy in the future from the same breeder through Pawrade, thank you for your exceptional customer service and the best puppy for my family.

This company does NOT provide vetted breeders and puppies that are up to date on shots. My 14 week old puppy came with ONE parvo shot and ONE combo shot and TWO rabies shots. Additionally, when I tried to file a claim, I was advised that they would only reimburse me for 1 shot. My vet is appalled that they would transport a puppy that is NOT protected from life threatening illnesses. When I posted on their social media page they deleted my comments which 100% confirms that this company is completely illegitimate.

All of our breeders are carefully vetted and we hold them to very high standards. But anyone can have an occasional error. Jennifer's pup did miss one shot, an honest mistake by the breeder. It is illegal for a pup to be taken from its mother and transported until it is 8 weeks. Jennifer's pup was 14 weeks. No pup is fully vaccinated until 16 weeks. So we are not sure how Jennifer's vet is making his assessment. Does he believe that no pup should go to a new loving home until it is 16 weeks and fully vaccinated? That is completely contradictory to USDA requirements and the recognized standard practice of every reputable breeder. Jennifer's vet also insisted that the pup missed two shots. We provided documentation that that was not true as we were more concerned that the pup would get over vaccinated which can be dangerous. Jennifer and her vet refused to acknowledge the documentation. We finally just relented and agreed to compensate for the two shots so that the customer wouldn't feel they had been wronged. We asked Jennifer to follow our standard practice and open a Health guarantee claim and provide her vet documents for reimbursement. As of today, 1-31-2023 we still have no further communication to resolve this. Jennifer has instead gone to multiple different sites to post her inaccurate version of events. It is also important to note that other than the missing shot tht we agreed to pay for Jennifer's pup was completely healthy by her own admission.

Breeder & company involved 9 days later no flight info no returned email or text would never do this again. Pls if you fall in love run! Do not go throu this company. Not only do I have to dispute my C.C I have to tell my husband we are not getting our puppy. Shame on me for not doing my homework. This will happen to you. Don't think different! Read the reviews. Look else where. I promise you will be less stressed out. If only I did my research ahead of time. Pls look elsewhere. It's a lot of money to be dealing with inconsistency and NOT knowing when the pup will come. Also as I have read. Most puppies are not healthy. Now what do you do? I googled this company on the better Business Bureau. Nothing came up. I also searched on their website for scams it didn't come up. Regardless! It is not worth the headache or stress. Pls…. Look everywhere

I bought a puppy through PetPay/Pawrade and after picking her up and taking her to her first vet visit, I have no doubt that this puppy came from a puppy mill. For starters, only after purchasing the dog (paying FULL price) through the website and waiting until 1 day prior to scheduled pick up was I given the breeder's information. I was given no information on the breeder's practices or pictures of their facilities. I should have known that this was a puppy mill situation at that point - but then the breeder would not let me pick the puppy up at their facility nor was I permitted to meet the parents and I knew there must be a problem. No reputable breeder keeps people from seeing their dogs or their facilities. When I picked the dog up, she was completely filthy and smelly and her ears full of gunk. I took the dog to my vet today and she has ear mites. The dog is also being fed a brand of food that no one I have spoken with recognizes, including my vet. I am going to begin to file claims for the ear mites and hope nothing worse happens... Will update review after going through the claims process.

I was interested in a puppy and inquired about it. I was told that the customer service rep would be in contact with me to set up a time to meet the puppy and breeder but the person never got back in touch. I then reached out to inquire about the puppy again, only to be told that the puppy was sold to someone else. Very poor customer service. I would recommend that if you are looking for a puppy to go somewhere else that has better customer service and responds quicker.

Just like many of the other reviews I've read, once you put that deposit down everyone goes silent. I immediately became concerned and started messaging and I began calling as well. It was not until I messaged and asked to cancel for a refund of my deposit did they start messaging back explaining that would not happen. I received conflicting information on delivery, received incorrect invoices, and still didn't have questions answered. I was told by one of the reps she did not agree with my opinion, which wasn't her place to say in my opinion. I asked to talk to a manager and Charlie was no help. I could see why his employees act the way they do. When I explained how they breached contract and didn't do their part, the lady, Kelli said, so we made one mistake! Yes, one that cost me almost 700.00. And still no answer of my questions. I was told by Charlie he would call me back the next morning with no call. When I questioned I got Kelli again and she said he's in meetings all day. Get real.
This place is a joke, very shady and unprofessional. I filed a complaint with the BBB and sent my contract to my attorney. I would stay away from this company. Attached is my text conversation with one of the reps. I would also be Leary of text conversations vs what is saved in the portal.

Read read read read before you go further. Ask a million questions before you put any money down. Their company says they will refund when at fault but they will not accept fault or explain what that means

Brenda, we are sorry that despite our best efforts we were not able to meet your demands. But at no time did anyone go silent. In fact the message center shows an exchange of sixty (60) messages between you and our staff. And as you stated many other text messages and calls as well. I was advised that you wanted to speak to manager on the afternoon of 2-7-2023 and called you on 2-7-23 at 848pm est. You didn't answer so I left you a detailed voicemail and assured you that I would address all your concerns. You returned my call the next morning but I was not able to answer so I asked Kelli to call you and let you know I would call you later in the afternoon when I would be able to speak to you uninterrupted. By 4pm when I was able to call, you had already insisted to cancel the sale and moved forward with posting inaccurate information online. The contract that you signed is very clear on our cancellation policies and the policies were reviewed with you verbally and in the message center to be sure you understood and you acknowledged and agreed. A minor discrepancy in a travel date that was quickly corrected and confirmed is not a valid reason to cancel a sale. We cant discard a contract because you have buyers remorse and feel the contract you signed shouldn't actually apply to you. This site wont allow me to post images in my response. If I could it would give a far more accurate picture of our actual interaction. It would show that we went above and beyond. This is best illustrated by our thousands of 5 star reviews and 4.8/5 rating on Trustpilot, the most trusted, respected, and widely used review site.

This occurred Nov- Dec 2023 and Jan 2024. We have had an unbelievably terrible experience with this company. Prior to purchasing the puppy, the staff were amazingly helpful and promised us we would be able to zoom and connect with the breeder. After we purchased, communication significantly decreased. It took 2 weeks to have our first zoom with the puppy and it was an inconvenient time as my children were unavailable. Breeder agreed to reschedule but that never happened. It took 2 more weeks to get two 10 second videos in which you could not even see the puppy's face. While one employee remained somewhat communicative and responsive (Holly), she did tell me that I should be working with another employee. This employee, Destiny, was extremely rude and dismissive. When I complained about not getting the promised zoom or longer engaging videos of the puppy, she told me that just because something was promised before purchase, it does not mean it will happen.

We waited 8 weeks with minimal communication from pawrade and zero communication from the breeder. The week before we were supposed to get the puppy, we received a refund with no explanation. Upon finally being able to reach a manager, we were told that the breeder changed his mind and was not comfortable selling us the puppy anymore, apparently because we asked to zoom and for a video. There was no discussion as Pawrade agreed to the cancellation and unbelievably allowed the breeder to re-list the puppy!

It was a horrible experience and in the hindsight, we are grateful that the sale was canceled as the entire experience was shady and it became clear that the company does not care about the customer or the puppies, but only the money.

This company is only looking for making money at expense of people who is looking for a dog and doesn't have enough information to get an animal locally. Don't get in trap research more in your city, visit a shelter or I suggest to visit craigslist.org there is a lot of people who announce dogs there if you really want to buy one.

I naively pay almost four thousand dollars to this company to hopefully get a dog. Once they received the money they started behaving different regarding to the process of delivery of the dog. At the end I disputed the charge in the bank they reimbursed me the money for the dog but they charged me 1000 dollars transferring the debt to a debt collector icsystem.

I strongly recommend you to not put money in this kind of websites. If you want to be sure you are getting an animal in good conditions visit a local breeder or even a shelter. It's going to be much cheaper because apart of my bad experience dogs prices are very inflated in this website. Just be patient an you will find a good dog, at the end I decided to pay them the 1000 dollars just because I didn't want more problems but if you don't want to fall in these kind of issues don't buy dogs online specially not in pawrade...

Don't buy dogs online specially on pawrade. I suggest you to check craigslist or even better look for a dog in a shelter.

We are sorry to hear that you were not happy with your experience with Pawrade. Your review however is not a fair or accurate representation of what occurred when you purchased a puppy with us.

During your interaction with our sales representative your are given a thorough explanation of how our process works and what specifically is required of you as a buyer. If you choose to purchase a puppy you are then directed to read our terms and conditions of sale as well as our 3 year health guarantee and If all is well and meets your approval You are then given the opportunity to sign a contract to purchase the puppy. You chose to sign the contract, purchase the puppy and pay for the puppy as well as the travel service to have the pup delivered to you.

It was explained to you verbally as well as in writing how the travel process works. Your puppy is required to undergo a comprehensive health exam and receive a state certified Heath certification before it can travel. It takes a bit of time for the breeder to get the pup to a vet appointment. Once this is completed your travel is then scheduled. In your case you chose air cargo. This requires coordination with the breeder, buyer, and the airline to agree on a date that will work for all involved. This generally takes about 14 days and this was all disclosed to you as well. You purchased the pup on 8-31-2021 and then disputed your charge on 9-6-2021. You claimed that because your pup had not been sent by that time that it must be a scam. Our staff reached out to you on several occasions and explained everything to you again. You chose to move forward with cancelling the sale knowing full well that there was an administrative fee that would apply. You were given a refund of all money paid minus this fee that is absolutely not any where near $1000.

We at Pawrade do our best to make sure that all our customers receive a happy healthy puppy. We made every effort to do this for you. But some patience, understanding, and cooperation are required by the buyer as well. Delivering a live animal hundreds or even thousands of miles away in a safe and efficient manner is a complicated process that we cannot compromise on for the sake of speed.

Being a first-time dog owner, my experience with Pawrade was excellent (including the new puppy guide)! I initially communicated with Pam, who provided detailed information about coverage and what to expect. The rest of the team, travel and concierge, promptly responded to any messages I sent, providing updates on my puppy's current weight. Puzzle Pieces kept me informed about any changes with delivery, even informing me of an earlier arrival. The drivers, Chris and Lisa, were kind and caring. These two rock! My puppy arrived to me calm, well fed, and hydrated. I'm very satisfied with Pawrade and the concierge services they provide. I would highly recommend them.

After changing travel days. Now on day of puppy pickup, the company has ghosted me. I tried to message them multiple times with now reply. And at 11pm they tell me puppy might be picked up the next day to be driven to me. This is after they pushed me into having the dog driven when I wanted her flown to me. Next step I'll be reporting their scam delivery habits to the bbb.

I got my Old English Sheepdog from this site and couldn't be happier! I initially worked with a "puppy concierge" named Tania and she set up a conference call between her, myself, and the breeder Meghann, who was based out of Florida. Everyone was beyond helpful, professional, and able to answer my MANY questions about the process and specifically Meghann's breeding credentials and background. I had my new friend flown to me within two weeks and honestly couldn't be happier! They require a vet check within 3 days of getting your pup and my vet says that he looks great and is very healthy. Thank you Pawrade, Tania and Meghann!

Ask questions! This is what sold me on them and let me know that they aren't scammers.

She was delivered with parasite from a breeder in Indiana. Her name was Cora the paperwork said Donna. We are still fighting with the parasites. The delivery was delayed because of parasite. I bought insurance to help with the cost. They need to check out these so called breeders. It's like they know you fall in love with the dogs purchased and can't send back. Not sure even with insurance what my cost will be for my share. I should have checked out the ratings of these organization before hand. Shame on me, but shame on them for helping sell sick puppies. King Cavaliers are friendly dogs but she acts like she may have been abused not physically but mentally. Do not use these company. Now I'm making payments not only to the Vet but to the company I received the loan from. Since I'm not even sure I received the dog I purchased since it had one name on the website and another when received.

Do not us pawrade find a better way to purchase from.

The Health Guarantee manager has requested you send in your documents for review as I can see in our recorded communication. We are very sorry to hear of the Coccidia your pup has. Parasites are very common in pups and it is something we specifically address with all of our customers as we prepare you for what to expect with a new pup. This is also covered under your health guarantee. You simply go to your Petpay account and open a claim and provide your vet documents for reimbursement. We cant help you if you don't respond to us. Also all of our pups have 2 names that we record and document. The breeder assigns a name for their personal use and marketing and we assign a name that is specific to Pawrade so that we can track the puppies in our proprietary system. That is why you may receive a document from the breeder with the name they assigned but it is absolutely the pup you chose. Again, please reach out to us by sending your vet documents to support@petpay.com.

Really happy with this company and service. I first picked out a puppy and decided the breeder was a little shady so I wanted to back out but I had already paid and asked for a voucher so I could look at other pups. The service recovery here was phenomenal and everyone I spoke to were polite and customer oriented. I called them constantly impatient about my voucher, spoke to multiple people, and they all made sure to help me with whatever questions or concerns I had while being extremely patient with me. Once I had my voucher I chose an adorable corgi pup. He was 11 weeks old when I received him. He's already made friends with both my older, grumpy Maltese, and my younger excitable Golden Retriever. The delivery wait was totally worth it. I've had him for over a week now and he is seriously the cuddliest and most well behaved puppy I've ever had. He already knew the name I chose for him and was already peepad-trained!

I read so many great reviews on Pawrade site.
For me, unfortunately, experience was not as successful as for other puppy buyers. Even though it's stated that the puppy is available at nine weeks old I had to wait for another extra month.
I asked if I can chat with the breeders, but never received a response.
Paperwork was overwhelming, plus to that I had to submit my photo ID, plus! Take a picture of my face and submit my selfie! To me it was ridiculous!

One week before transportation was set, I received a call that my puppy has pre-existing condition (open fontanelle). I had to sign papers that I will not file health claims.
In two days after that I received another call that my puppy has undescended testicle and I have to sign papers about another health condition.
I've got an impression that Pawrade company trying to push defected puppy! I really believe they getting puppies from puppy mills.

Tip for consumers:
If you want a healthy puppy and if you want to avoid so much trouble — look for your puppy somewhere else, not in Pawrade.

Their marketing team is great. They get you to believe that you are getting this amazing, adorable puppy by connecting you with "top breeders." WHAT A JOKE! The "breeders" are backyard breeders who do nothing but breed for volume. The "loving care" and "health screened" it's just a mirror to spend your money. You look at these cute puppies, see the prices, and then you make your choice. The salesteam is awesome to get you to spend all sorts of money for your new puppy. The puppy arrives and so does the MASSIVE VET BILLS! My puppy arrived with a severe ear infection. But hey there are 30 days of pet insurance so I can make a claim and get money back… WRONG! "The dog had the infection prior to coverage." Well that didn't work but Pawrade stated that the puppy was checked by a vet and cleared for transport so they will cover it. WORNG AGAIN… "we can't prove the dog arrived with an infection." (Despite the vet visit was ONE day after!) I follow the rules and contract to the T but that doesn't matter. I get ready to neuter my dog "there is something wrong with his heart." I pay a total of $800 for a diagnosis and echocardiogram for my now 15 month old 104 pound dog. Turns out he has heart arrhythmia My first thought "oh he has insurance, they should cover it." DENIED! "ITS A PREEXISTING CONDITION." Well the 3-year health guarantee should help a little because it's genetic. DENIED! "Has to be a level three heart murmur." So now what? I'm stuck with a dog who has a heart condition due to "poor breeding." And massive vet bills plus pain medication monthly now. GO TO YOUR LOCAL BREEDER WHERE THEY DO PROPER HEALTH CHECKS! Save your money and stay away from this place.

I received a call from a manager on Tuesday of this week. He stated that I needed to get my dogs heart arrhythmia graded because "a level one heart murmur can go away as the puppy ages." He state that I need a 2nd vets opinion before they will look at it again. He's constantly saying "I'm not a vet but I've seen a lot of these." At the end of the call he tells me "we have to follow procedure." I called my dogs vet, he stated a heart arrhythmia and heart murmur are different so there is no "grade or level". I reached out to a few vets for a second opinion, everyone of the stated because it's a heart arrhythmia, another echocardiogram will need to be done. Cheapest quote I could get was $650. That's on top of what I already paid. It's a shame that these breeders do not use OFA to health screen their dogs.

Katie, The medication for the pups ear infection is covered under your health guarantee. If that was not done I will get that taken care of for you. If your pup has a genetic heart condition that requires medical intervention that may be covered under your health guarantee as well. But is does require concurring opinions form 2 vets. A second opinion, just as is recommended for humans with serious conditions. And it is true that pups can develop murmurs and arrhythmias that can remedy themselves or require no treatment and live a normal life. Please reach out to me directly in our message center. When we decided it was time for another dog, we discovered that there are new and interesting ways to find one! My wife found the Pawrade website, where you can search for pets, and get connected to a breeder. We fell in love with Simone, a Cavapoo, but almost canceled the deal when we realized they'd have to fly her to Seattle from St Louis. We thought that would be pretty tough on the little dog.

The people at Pawrade - and they have quite a team - were all very helpful, friendly, and professional. But their overriding concern is the safety and well-being of every little critter. To them, it was all about safety - from scheduling the flight, to giving us detailed instructions for caring for our dog following her arrival. We felt much more prepared to receive this puppy than we were to receive our own first-born child!

The good news is that she arrived in great shape, with no ill effects whatsoever. You'd think she'd just had an afternoon drive in the car. I recommend this company, more than for any other reason, for how they take care of these animals, and the concern demonstrated for us, their customer.

Tip for consumers:
Know that whichever pet you choose, the company has a way to get it to you... you come pick it up, or have it transported to you for a fee. They handle all of it very well.

Puppy Mill

Absolute false advertising of puppies.
DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING or put a reserve (full payment) in until you SEE all breeders pictures of puppy - on all sides of body and face AND sire and mother.
I first asked for pictures of the puppies mother and father. They said they would request them from Breeder … did not give them to me until AFTER I reserved the puppy for full price - THEN sent the father and mothers picture, of which, looked like crossbreed dogs of low quality.
The breeders (after payment) pictures of the puppy looked nothing like the adorable puppy in the Pawrade advertisement. VERY deceptive! I will enclose the breeders pictures of a $4,000 + all taxes, fees, travel, etc…. Pure bred, registered, King Charles Spaniel and her parents.

Jody is leaving out a lot of relevant facts. You can see the marketing pics of the pup as well as the updated pics the customer demanded immediately. I am sure everyone can understand there may be some difference between the professional photos and the pics the breeder scrambled to get with her cell phone. The breeder also hurriedly pulled the parents from the outside where they were romping with the pups to get pics for the customer. Naturally they look as you would expect a long haired breed to appear that only moments earlier was outside playing. It is also readily apparent that the parents are the correct breed as represented. How anyone would believe them to be "crossbreed" is not reasonable. The customer was refunded all of her money except the deposit that she was very well aware of as non refundable. The refund policy was presented to her and agreed to by her in writing before her purchase. The buyer has now followed through on her threat to "slam" us anywhere she can post her skewed version of events. We purchased our cockatoo Birdie from Pawrade! She is just a dream come true for our family. She is so social, she loves everyone and is the star of the show wherever she goes. Everyone at Pawrade was so helpful, all of our questions were answered and we even had a zoom call with the breeder so we could see our girl before she came home. I recommend Pawrade to everyone!

I got a dog from pawrade that right off the bat didn't come trained as he was described. Was supposed to be potty trained and cat friendly, but was nowhere near potty trained or friendly with cats. They say you can return your pet, but you basically loose out on all the money you have spent, and we wanted to try to make it work. The way our dog acts is terribly unsocialized, as if he was barely around people and he has bad anxiety. I have doubts that the breeder he was from was credible or trustworthy. What kind of breeder makes zero contact to the person they are selling to? I think he could've potentially been from a very shady backyard breeder. Also, the website has phone numbers that link to questionable sources. Although I love my dog, he has come with a host of behavioral issues which makes me think he came from somewhere that he wasn't socialized with people or treated with any sort of love or given a lick of training.
