I've been trying for the longest while now to connect my husband's family tree to mine... you know, since we're married and I'd like them to be linked. This seems to be impossible...I can't figure it out and ancestry help is less than helpful. They have me signing up for a bunch of other family tree sites and I still can't get our trees linked! Does anyone know a simple way for me to do this?

Sarah, I am sorry that you are having such a difficult time with Ancestry.com.
If you are serious about your family tree the best place to go is Wikitree.com
They require that you cite your sources. When you start entering your family, you have to enter where you got the information. Birth certificate, death certificate, census records, etc.
It is a great way to find your family tree.
It is free.
Other members help you with your search.
You do have to be serious about your search otherwise you won't get very far.
Go to Wikitree.com and look into it first
Explore the website and see if it is for you.
The best part is that other people who have experience with geneaology research are willing to help.
And that it is free is just a nice perk considering that Ancestry and the My Heritage charge astronomical prices.
Good luck Sarah.
