on 8/8/13I also tend to think that it's scaremongering. I always knew it was a scam site. I understood it when I found a worthy and authentic dating site
http://J4Bride.com
Where I met my love, only then I realized how horrible and fraudulent Be2 was. But I didn't expect Be2 to have gone that far. They are trying to bully their users! Don't panic and don't pay them anything!
Yes, it is a scam and yes you can cancel. You just end up going round and around on the website trying to find non-existent cancellation links. Be2 is a seriously bad service that I made the mistake of clicking through via a link on Plentyoffish. Be2 are all about making money by relying on a 14 day notice period. They will not be getting mine, but it was a close thing.
I have been sending emails all week to cancel still can not get the code, after only 3 days of being on the site it is a scam, can you cancel?
Just received email from them saying there may take legal action
Received a e mail from solicitors in
Luxembourg, wanting money. If I don't pay the money by the 22nd of this month they will take me to court and I could get a bad credit rateing. Have no idea what to do. Any suggestions from any one please?
Hi Lisa,
I really don't think you have to worry. It's scaremongering most probably. However, if you are concerned I'd investigate the solicitors to check if they are legit (they most probably aren't). You could also consult the Citizen's Advice Bureau, phone Consumer Advice.
Be2 are a complete scam and it sounds to me like they have stepped up their bullying tactics because people weren't falling for their crap! So I really wouldn't worry too much. Just don't pay them a penny!
Perhaps you could share what happens when all has blown over?
Cheers,
Wendy
