One thing you can do that doesn't cost too much is also to tell the lady you want to call her, tell her you want to only get her phone number... nothing else... tell her it costs too much to talk on the Chn phone line... Get her number, then call her back. It only takes a couple minutes to do that. If the lady doesn't want to give you her phone number... something may be wrong.

You are absolutely right, because you have to pay to read their letters there is every incentive for them to write loads of letters. I actually think that many of the ladies do not exist they are the inventions of the agencies and the translators working there - they simply fire off emails and the money rolls in.
