Hi, I'm interested in buying a Maltese, and when I look it up on your website, it sends me to a Grace, On your website, it says they are located in Waldorf, MD, but when I emailed the person, they say they live in Cincinnati, Ohio. The I check another dog on your website, and it tells me to email Grace, from Lancaster, PA. I checked reviews on you guys and people are saying you are scammers. Can you tell me what's going on? I want to buy a dog, but don't want to be scam.

We're not sure of the individual ad in question, but if there is a concern such as the one you raised, we have a tool in place to "flag" an ad. We don't want you or anyone to be scammed, and if there is a concern its best to skip that ad and flag it.

DogsNow.com does as much as they can to avoid scammers posting on their site, but inevitably some might slip through. It sounds like you're experiencing some sort of glitch with the site location search feature. In order to be sure a breeder is not trying to scam you, you must use your good judgement. If something sounds fishy, don't do it. If you can't speak with them by phone, that is a red flag. If they want you to send money through MoneyGram or wire transfer, run in the opposite direction. Most importantly, find someone you are comfortable with. A breeder should be there for the lifetime of the puppy to help guide you and give you advice. (This review is being left by a breeder).
