I have been diagnosed with gastroparesis and gerd this year. I have had really bad gerd for most of this year, and the dr has prescribed Prilosec 40 mg, and that didn't work. Ive also been on Nexium 40 mg, and had to go off that. Now I'm on Protonix 40 mg 2x daily, and Gaviscon as needed. Im to my wits end because the reflux doesn't seem to be getting better. I'm wondering if I should go for a second opinion?
