I think that we're all used to getting free shipping from online purchases, but that's just the cost distributed to each item's price. I think that they need to take full shipping because of the way they price their items. But if you are buying outside of the UK, and shop in different currency, they're taking something like 5.56 GBP from you per item (check the currency you pay in to GBP in Google, I've tested this with several currencies on their site and they're all a bit under 5.60GBP), so then depending on how many items you order, you might feel like shipping charged in full is too much and I feel you.
