Hi Chinetha, usually there is no delay and you will receive your refund on the same day that the IRS deposits it.

No the prepaid card service was suppose to have sent my card within a week it's been a month they don't even know who I am they never got any of my information and when the refund processed it would be directly deposited on to card no hold time the IRS informed me I should have had my refund within 21 days and that I needed to contact the preparer but no luck on that end of the line
