Totally depends on what you can do, how much you can handle stress and your capabilities. Some people day trade, some people scalp, some people buy and hold, hedge with cross assets that has a negative beta or inverse correlation to the ingredients of their portfolio at the time. Choose the one you can do better first, then move onto advanced ones after you learn the basics.
