Has anyone from the U.K. had a good experience with the iHerb app or items they've purchased from it??

Yes, we have a lot of satisfied customers from the UK who have been ordering from us for many years. The only concern is the customs fees that are charged on the order. Unfortunately some customers are surprised about these fees or the value of the additional fees that get assessed.

I ordered from the UK this week and bought £21 of products. When paying you get the option to pick a delivery company with the cost of delivery of that company listed next to it. They are not listed in price order. The second cheapest (DHL) was listed at the top and the box is automatically ticked for you. The most expensive delivery company was listed second and then the cheapest option (local deal rates) was listed at the bottom but you have to scroll down to see it so I left the first box ticked as I assumed they were in price order. So my delivery at checkout cost £8.62. Then I got a text from DHL stating my delivery was on its way and that I owed them £17 for taxes and customs. Looking at the site now it states next to the costs of delivery that Duties, Taxes and Fees may be collected at delivery but this is not very clear. It should be worded 'You will be charged additional costs by the shipping company' and you should have to tick a box to agree this or the cost should be added to the price st checkout. Please note you ALWAYS will be charged extra. I have only only ordered light goods. I contacted Iherb hoping to get a discount from my goods or a refund but they said they would minus all delivery off my refund and I'd still have to pay DHL both ways which would mean I'd then have less money and no goods! To conclude their site is illogically set out and misleading and sets customers up for disaster which looking at the number of complaints should have been altered yonks ago. It reminds me of websites from when internet shopping was brand new - there's no customer ethics or enthusiasm to look for solutions. If it were my company I'd have refunded the customer and paid the delivery charges myself and fixed my website straight away as I'd feel unprofessional and feel I was being unethical leaving customers feeling robbed.

Im about to sue them. Theyre site is fraudulent as it uses a UK prefix to misrepresent where the goods are being shipped from. Interestingly in research prior to issuing the court process i found US sites who ship in UK with no customs charges. The site is hosted on google ads and i am suing them also.
