I want to purchase a samsung note 8 tablet from your site, but I need to be able to to open and it turn on and use an app to see if it will hold a decent charge of at least 6 hrs. If it does not will I be able to return it for a full refund of the price I paid?

Check with Samsung about the device. I think it should be under Manufacturer's warranty.
