This is absolutely not true. We purchased a dress from June Bridals and it was absolutely perfect

They say they will only refund if it is not a custom made dress. Make sure that you have contacted them through Live Chat first before you order, so you have an open ticket about your order.

No. There are a lot of fake positive reviews. You'll see there's a lot of 5 star reviews, and then a lot more 1 star reviews. Usually that's a sign that the 5 star reviews are scams. Also, if you read the 5 star reviews, they sound a little bit off and inauthentic. Several of them even use the same phrases, like "fits like a glove". To me, that's another sign these are falsely generated reviews. "I will buy more dresses for myself here in the future!" Who buys more than one wedding dress? It feels off.
