Is KB Home a scam or a legit company?

Its a legit company, but they build poor quality homes at expensive prices and band aid any warranty issues you have.

How easy is it to get a hold of customer service at KB Home?
We are about to spend $4500.00 of our own money to pay for repairs on KB faulty structure. Insurance will not cover this. It is ridiculous!!!! Have other KB home owners had to do this???
