I see quite a few very good looking women who have been on the site for a year or more. Is that a bad sign? A few that I am thinking of in particular are in China. I notice some don't come up anymore when you click "home" and was wondering if that was related to their use of the site.

Thanks John from AFA. Joe, I hear what you're saying but I do hear good, bad and mixed reviews about AFA. One friend of mine has gone to Dominican Republic and Colombia five or six times and met quite a few women from AFA. Then when he is actually there, he meets more, esp in the DR. Another friend of mine after going on a tour to Ukraine which he did not like, went to Costa Rica for a month or two and by using the AFA office there, he met at least two women from the site. That trip was mixed because somewhere along the way, his wallet was lost or stolen, but that can't be blamed on AFA. And I wrote to a really pretty woman in China but complained to AFA when she started talking about "making love". (I am not a total idiot!) AFA fully refunded money from five or six letters, but that woman is still on the site. Not sure what is going on there. Anyway, I am trying to be objective and I will give this at least one try by actually going to meet one or two women. Always interested in opinions though.

Hi Greg, The best thing you can do is avoid 'dating' sites like A Foreign Affair/Loveme.com. You don't need to use these people who photoshop the women's profiles and display young Model looking women. That should be a big hint that what you're looking at Isn't real. Also, AFA/Loveme.com don't do any background checks on any of the 'women' listed on their websites, as AFA say on their disclaimer BS form, they don't verify any profile. This is why AFA is full of fake profiles and scammers. Greg, just go the country where you want to meet the type of ladies you are interested in without using the 'dating' agencies. Cheers, Joe N.

Greg,

Thanks for the questions. In a way, yes it is a bad sign, it means that not enough men are taking our advice and going over and meeting these wonderful women! Unlike virtually all the other companies out there that just want you to chat and write letters and never go over and meet because if you do you may actually meet someone you like and stop spending your money on their sites. For the last 20 years we have pushed men to go over and meet the women in person with our tours or just individually, we believe that if you do meet someone you move forward with you will tell your friends and we will grow, it has worked for the last 21 years!

I am not sure about what your other question is, but f you E-mail Liz at customer service afa@loveme.com she will answer all your questions.

Thanks,

John
