on 4/17/19That is the scam they are running. I can only theorize why. It seems anything that is false flagged by other service providers as "spam" triggers blockage of an account, against which one has no defense, getting the same canned response.
It could be a form of coercion to get people to upgrade to a paid account to get actual customer service, but there are many reports of paid accounts being blocked on spurious grounds. I didn't bite, so I don't know.
Perhaps this is some sort of test case to see what corporations can get away with, and what people will put up with without taking any action, being so obviously and blatantly not operated in good faith.
