I paid the subscription fee for a year, mainly so I can get speaking parts on any kind of production. I don't even care if they're mostly student productions, as I get film footage from them, which is very usable. However, if you're thinking of paying the subscription fee to get paid work, I would advise against it. You will not get much paid work through Mandy. If you want paid work, you're better off getting an office job that will pay far more than the NMW that's offered by most productions. I can't wait to get my necessary named speaking roles so I can join Spotlight!

Your membership will simply revert to a Standard membership which does not block employers from contacting you, nor does it affect existing applications. In other words no. It is NOT free for employers? They charge both employers and crew but guarantee nothing to the person's looking for work.

As we are not a direct casting director or agency, we do not select who is successful for any role posted with us. Our Daily/Weekly Opportunities round ups are not tailored to your profile, however, you can turn these off or change their frequency via your Profile settings. Your Job Alert emails, on the other hand, are tailored to your profile and are sent out as soon as the job is posted. If you are looking to better tailor your Job Alerts, please go to your 'About me/Skills' section and update the 'Interested in' and 'Experienced in' section so that we have the information necessary to send you the best jobs for you. Hi Anna, thanks for your question, we'll be happy to help. Please refer to the status indicator when looking at Jobs > Applications, as this will give further information as to whether an application has been viewed or shortlisted. If you see the status is "Viewed", this means the employer has reviewed your application. If you have any further questions please get in touch at emails@mandy.com.
