Want to book a flight from the US to Germany, but all those negative reviews take a toll!
Most reviews were from 2010 to 2012 did their service improve in 2016?

Book directly via the Airline (Lufthansa, United, and, depending where you are departing from Signapore Airlines is my favourite!) and get the best deal!

No, they have gotten worse! Do not use priceline for anything. If anything is wrong with your reservation they will not give you a refund for whatever reason!

Here's a tip to save you some possible grief. Don't use Priceline.
Go on google flights, check the prices easily and book directly through the airline.

They were SOoooo uncooperative with my issue that I would never use them for anything. There are a number of other sites out there - give them a try. Sometimes a company makes a mistake and they make an effort to fix the problem, Priceline was adamant and would not budge, even though they booked me, a disabled person, into a Serviced Apartment with no elevator, instead of a 3.5 star hotel as presented.

I highly recommend that you find any other way of booking your flight than using priceline. Worst company I ever dealt with. Like the other reviewers are saying, if anything on your itinerary changes, you will still pay full price, and not get your flight. Customer service is deplorable. I had "trip insurance" tried to use it and they would not honor it. Have had good experiences with Expedia lately.

I wouldn't risk booking an international flight with them because if any of your plans change you are out of luck and will lose your money. Then again, that's the deal and you agree to it before booking. They don't care if someone in your family dies... you book, pay and it's a done final deal. No changes. That's part of why they have a bad reputation. People just assume they are entitled to a refund or date change if something changes even though they agreed to the final sale. I only use them for hotels when I know 100% none of my plans are changing.

I would avoid and use a more reputable service.
People say they have improved, but I had more than one problem with themba few months ago.
Don't risk your money when there are plenty of better alternatives.

I did not care for their "service" in February 2016. Priceline is OK, unless something goes wrong or you need to change something in your itinerary, then they become bureaucratic and difficult to deal with.

I love priceline. There is a phone number on their website. Maybe they can answer your questions. I have used priceline many times for flights and hotels, never car rentals, good luck.

There service and value is probably above average but don't make a mistake and try and fix it they will charge you outrageous fees. I made an immediate call and the "cancelled my ticket without fees" only to find out they charged me $500. Save yourself use another service.
