I need a gift for mothers day. I got screwed last year when ordering flowers and them arriving AFTER mothers day. Does this company deliver on time?

I received a mini orchard for Mother's Day in a plastic cup and a decorative container. When I take the plant out to place it in the container, the container is very large. What type of soil do I add to the container to hold the orchard roots in place?
